The bags are great. I dont leave them on all the time though. They are a bit saggy because there is no support behind them on the ninja but they hold alot of stuff and with the built in rain covers they are good for all weather.

Yes but they might be sitting in the straps.

Not locked, just strapped. Once you do it a few times it only takes 1 minute to strap or unstrap.

The bags are universal. I'm sure they will work on a 300.
