- Went fishing with a couple of Buddies in Lighthouse Lakes, tide was high until it wasn't. Redfish were abundant and made for a fantastic day with friends. @Jacemang_Outdoors and my buddy Manny.
Fishing in Corpus Christi, Texas. I fish with lures for Redfish and Speckled Trout in the Corpus Christi Bay and Upper Laguna Madre including Aransas Pass ,Port Aransas, Ingleside and Rockport.

You use a snap with a swivel in front of topwater? Some people call that jewelry...haha
Well I use Jewelry on everything than. Works for me and doesn't hinder me from catching fish.
Rumor has it he hooks more on snap swivels than the hook itself 😂

Nice video Chris. What kind of waders do you wear in the kayak? They don’t look very restrictive. Are they comfortable?
No waders. I actually wear Columbia Titan pass pants . 4 way stretch and waterproof. Also some cheaper brands from Amazon with similar features. Also wear NRS boundry boots. Year round wear ,when it really gets cold I layer with dry fit undershirt and thin warmup from Walmart. Perfectly fine for down to 43º

I would like to ask you the same question I’ve asked other Corpus locals to get various opinions. With the 50%+ thunderstorms forecast next week what is your opinion on how the rain will affect saltwater fishing. I’ve got a plan tripped next week to the CC area and would like to do some fishing.
Well we are very hit and miss here. Now that being said I'm not a big fan of 15+ mph in a kayak it's not fun. Rain is not a big deal to me or the fish. It's a wind deal for me. There is a small window Thursday morning that might be good
