Re: "Why the fuck did Phil Lamaar never appear on the american version?"
When I met Phil in Seattle, I asked him why he didn't make any more appearances. He basically just said the producers liked Wayne more.
And I guess even at that time they didn't want two black guys on the show together. Now, sometimes 3/5 of the cast are black.
@@David-ud9ju phil isn't good at all on this show. He should stick to Hermes.
@@christianlorre
That’s just your opinion and quite an insensitive and stupid one at that. You make it rather obvious how wrong you are about him. Because he’s a successful celebrity and your not! 😂
"I really really really really really really do!"
And his yell at the end of that verse made me crack up.
The hug was so loving and sweet.
Ryan and Colin are true best friends.
True Friendship right there.
The hug was so loving, and very very sweet.
Ryan and Colin are best buds on the street.
True Friendship right there can never be denied,
They can do anything when they're together side by side.
I love how often Colin says "it really is" ...that phrase is in almost every verse he does
'Giant hug from Ryan and Colin'
Me: AWWWWWWW *Squeals and dissolves in the cuteness that is Ryan and Colin's friendship.
"i have to admit he's my best friend"-Ryan. Awww 3
Ryan and Colin. There should be a documentary about that legendary duo.
I cried when Colin hugged Ryan.
My friend saw me and said "You have issues man".
+Jeremy Ann Catunao You're not alone. We all have issues according to your friend haha
It's not strange. Imagine when one or both die, and then rewatching this. They have the strongest bond I've seen in improv!
I'm sorry, can someone please tell me what Ryan sang in his last verse?
@@stefanomusarratubi5180 You've got to love Colin, love him to the end
I have to admit that he is my best friend
I would not lie to you, but this is no jive
Any way you look at it, he's still got more hair than Clive
Aww. Colin and Ryan's hug at the end was the cutest thing. :D
Aw, the second guy had a very wholesome verse
That's Phil LaMarr of MADtv fame, and whose most notably known as Marvin, who got his head blown off in Pulp Fiction.
Colin hugging Ryan was the most wholesome thing I've ever seen.
Ohhhh, my God! The end was so freakin' cute!
I love to sing like Colin, I really really do.
I really really really really really really do
And when I sing like Colin, it makes me have great joy
Because I... *panic attack*
Well there is a man they call the king of Whose Line
His soul is on fire, and his mind is very fine
He does a hoedown, and he very rarely sucks,
'cause he is one talented, follicly-challenged Canuck!
Everybody's having fun singing all about me
Let's all laugh along with them hahaha hehe
It really is amusing, can't to you all see?
Look at them! Look at them! Of me they're making a Mochrie!
You've got to love Colin, and love him to the end
I have to admit that he is my best friend
I would not lie to you, ah this is no jive
Anyway you look at it, he's still got more hair than Clive!
MORE HAIR THAN CLIVE!!!
The last line of Phil's verse is "Cause he is one talented, folically-challenged Canuck!"
i love when colin says look at them look at them of me they are making a mochrie
Ryan & Collin BBFs Forever
I’ll never get tired of Greg’s Colin impressions
colin hugging ryan at the end is the sweetest thing!!!
Awww I love Ryan and Collins friendship
2:14 is just great
I love how Greg mocked Colin in pretty much every possible way except for throwing in a random bald joke. xD
Awwwww Ryannnn
Epic bro hug is epic!
Awe, Ryan's part was so sweet. I love the "I have to admit that he is my best friend"
I love how Colin took this well.
There is just something so heartwarming about hearing Ryan call Collin his bestfriend.
Colin and Ryan are the ultimate bromance.
Doesn't matter how many times I see it it's the same as when it first aired. Ryan made the nicest gesture ever!
You got to love Colin, he's been doing this for years
He makes me laugh so hard that I am left in tears
Don't make any bald jokes around this man you see
Or he'll get angry and set out a solar beam
watch the 'going bald' hoedown on the american version. he opens a can of whoopass
Colin had the best call -
"Oh me they're making a Mochrie."
XD
aw, I love how Ryan and Colin can beat each other down, but when it comes to everyone attacking either one of them, the other one is always right there to have their back :]
I love the bond between Colin and Ryan :D
That hug is total ship.
Oh, the last bit made me smile SO MUCH.
"lets all laugh with them, ha ha ha he he." lmao! gawd i love him!!
Ryan's verse was great, it made me smile, and then the hug was just adorable.
and he still pokes at clive :P LOVE IT
The hoedown theme sounded better with that piano...the bass line is nice
Aw, the look on Colin's face when he went to hug Ryan was adorable!
Awe, you got to love Ryan for being so nice to Colin all the time XD
Colin part of the hoedown was genius and Ryan 's part was cute with the hug in the end
Cool to see Phil Lamarr on this one! A very nice, respectful appearance here! Also, his character, Samurai Jack, will return to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim segment next year! HAPPY NEW YEAR, PHIL! :)
Have ya been watching it? IT'S FRIGGING AWESOME! I swear Phil has GOT to win the Emmy this year for Best Performer In A Prime Time Animated Program.
D'aaaaaaaaaaaw, I love the hug!
That hug at the end made me oh so happy. =)
The sequencing here captures the kind of magic that occasionally happened on this show. Greg opens with a savagely accurate roast of Colin’s frustrations with this particular game. Phil piles on with a rather tepid but more sporting dig. Then Colin gets to fire back with some biting sarcasm, self-deprecating humor, and the cleverest joke in the whole hoedown. Finally, Ryan steps up with some love for his friend and a counter-roast that everyone gets to join in on to close it out. It is truly the Perfect Hoedown.
That hug at the end was so adorable.
Colin
Aw, the bromance touched my cold lil heart. I heart Who's Line, UK and US!
2:14 what we do not see about ryan and colins friendship
Awww... Ryan's so sweet! I love those two!
when Colin hugged ryan in the end...it touched my heart..and it made me cry..='(...the power of friendship...+ funny...= Funny Friendship
1:05. Phil Lamarr?!
Colin is the BEST!!!! :D
And Ryan is a very good friend!
I loved Colin and Ryan's hug at the end!v Soooo sweet! :)
D'awwwwwww I love it when Ryan stands up for Colin
Aaaww~
I adore the Ryan/Colin duo - they're by far the funniest on the show. They're styles are so different, but they play off each other so well!
It's the hug that gets me every time :-)
I love Colin and Ryan Hug At The End.
It Seemed Pretty Sweet.
Everybody's fun, they're singing all about me
Let's all laugh along, ha ha ha hee hee
It really is amusing, can't you all see?
Look at them, look at them, of me they're making a Mochrie
100% agree. Colin IS the king.
2:15 thats what i call absolute bromance
Greg's verse was awesome, but he probably would have been better off fainting. XD
And the hug at the end is absolutely adorable.
My Colin Hoedown:
I watch "Whose Line" every single day,
When it comes to comedy there's not much else to say.
Whose Line is the very best show to me,
It's all because a bald guy named Colin Mochrie.
I love Collin! He is so great! Ryan is a hoot! would love if both came to my house for a party! I'd have to wear "poise"....
2:15 take a screen shot and save to photos 🥺🥺🥺That’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen man! 😢❤️🦋🙏
lol, i love how Colin gave Ryan a hug at the end for saying that about his hair. XD
Ryan's da real mvp
Wait. If this was the UK version, why did Greg imitate Colin's dino walk? Didn't Colin first showed us his amazing dino walk in the US version (which came out after)?
Since colin's first dino walk in like the 5th uk season, gregs done nothing but goof on it lol
Colin and Ryan were stars for years on the UK version which took place BEFORE the US version. That's when Colin introduced his dino walk and falling during a hoedown. This episode is from the final season of the UK version, a year before the US version began.
I agree, his impression of Colin is suprisingly accurate.
But It's so sweet what Ryan says, and when they hug ^_^
Fun fact: the 2nd guy in line is Phil LaMarr who you may recognize as (amongst countless other things) Marvin from Pulp Fiction and the voices of Hermes Conrad from Futurama, Static from Static Shock and Samurai Jack from Samurai Jack! Incredibly talented man!
@Dylan Francis
Thank you for the information. I didn’t know who he was and I agree he is incredibly talented.
Greg's impression makes me fall on the floor laughing. That's really accurate. The others sucked though.
Damn check out the teeth in that crowd
If you're trying to make a jab at Britain, you should know that this was filmed in Hollywood on the same set the US version was to be filmed on the following year. Only the host, Clive Anderson is British. The crowd is American.
colin's performances on youtube never fail
to make me post a comment containing LOL
he's so brilliant, he does it every time,
except in the hoedowns, when I miss him doing mime
ryan's so sweet! his relationship with colin is one of TV's first bromances, in my opinion! haha!
This was a lot more wholesome than I thought it would be
Greg:
I love to sing like Colin, I really, really do.
I really really really really really really do.
And when I sing like Colin, it makes me have great joy,
because I...augh!
Phil:
Well, there is a man they call the king of "Whose Line."
His soul is on fire, and his mind is very fine.
He does a hoedown, and he very rarely sucks,
'cause he is one talented follically challenged Canuck!
(cont.)
I freakin love Ryan! He's an amazing friend! :)
The hug at the end was cuuute
The first song...best rip on Colin EVER...
But then you just see him standing there, and EVERYONE is clapping to the beat, because they KNOW Colin has something cooking...
"Look at them! Look at them! Of me they're making a Mochrie!"
EPIC!
That hug at the end was so sweet and wholesome lol
awww that ending with ryan and colin was SOOOOO CUTE!!!
At the end, Ryan says "I was stuck between that and fainting." lol
When you look at Colin, you can't help but smile
If you say differently, you are in denial
I miss seeing him on TV, it really makes me pout
If they don't bring this show back, I'll blow my fucking brains out
omg that hug at the end tho 😍😍
Ryan's bit in this always makes me explode in unbridled fangirly squee.
I love this show and I´m from Sweden! :-)
Thank God for CZcams!
Phil is such a cool guy. He’s so nice and personable.
ryan and colin’s friendship makes me so happy
Hmm... Greg: Mocks Colin. Other dude: Bows down to Colin. Colin: Self-deprecation. Ryan: Heartwarming.
THEY know not to mock Mochrie.
You got that right! :D
I loved the hug! With that hug you just know that ryan was telling the truth about them being best friends.
I wanna do something like this sometime in my life. You just get so connected to the people you act with :)
Hahahaheehee! i loved colin's it just made me laugh XD Aww! The hug was so cute!
Oh Colin
I love Ryan and Colin's brohug at the end.
props to proops.
And when collin and ryan hugged at the end the song "guy love" from scrubs popped in my head.
Wow this brings back memories, I used to watch Ryan and Colin YEARS ago all the damn time. Whose Line regulars and the most hilarious. Improv pros....
Colin is the reason i joined the improve team in high school
Ryan makes a bald joke about someone other than Colin, and Colin immediately hugs him. Checks out.
Has anyone else noticed that Colin's third line always starts with "It really is..."
I can't un-notice that now
It really really really really really really does.
Yeah I've always noticed that.
Well is he wrong?
I think that was Greg's joke (?)
