The Carbone card contains the three symbols of three lunar goddeses: the crescent Luna, the bow of Artemis, and the object the man is holding is the handheld oil lamp of Heckate. The name, Carbone is also a play on words dealing with the lamp. Carbone is "carbon black" also known as "lamp black" and it is a pigment or ink made from the soot of oil lamps. It represents the black of the night sky, as well as the black of the cave of the underworld, as well as the black printing ink the cards were made with. The crescent moon is of course seen on Mithraic altars.
Fantastic interview. I REALLY appreciate the visuals you added. Great questions that focused on key points. Peter Mark Adams is utterly brilliant and fascinating !!!!
Wow, wow, wow. Thank you.
We need more books from Peter about this deck!!!!!

Absolutely amazing and thank you on the clarity in the separation of hellenism and gnosticism and the description of cronos and the titan cult
Fascinating presentation by Mr. Adams and a wonderfully conducted interview, Andreu!
Congratulations and keep up with The Great Work, gentlemen! :)

Excellent 😊😊😊
Fascinating stuff on the 'vast continuum'. The connections are incredible.
Do you think St Expeditus draws on Mithras imagery?
I know that you’re not asking me, but I would say that the androgyny, military, and solar symbolism would suggest it!
