The song portrays the emotions of disillusionment, alienation, isolation, betrayal, anguish and loneliness. It is a song of struggle and triumph. This ethereal, lavishly mellodic, haunting ballad was produced out of chaos in Michael Jackson’s life written in response at the time he was being accused of child sex abuse. "Stranger In Moscow" was an *absolute masterpiece.* Michael initially wrote it as a poem about how he was feeling like an outcast in society because of all the false accusations, and the media portraying him as a monster and dragging his name through the mud. "Stranger In Moscow" was the final single he ever released.
Recently showed this song to my 10 year old daughter and she asks me, “Mom, why does this song make me feel like crying?” I told her that it was because she can feel Michaels sadness through the music. Beautiful song.

At this present time Martin Bashir is under investigation in the UK for lying to and misleading Princess Diana into believing that she was being spied on by her staff, and many other patently untrue things, like her husband was having an affair with the boys nanny, who was pregnant to him ( that third person in the marriage was never a reference to Camilla), she and her brother were even presented with bank statements and other evidence, which as it turns out were forgeries, not true. It was after being fed all this false information, which Diana believed was fact, that Diana agreed to doing the Panorama interview with Martin Bashir, and that interview ended any possibility of a reconciliation with Prince Charles and an immediate divorce. If you recall, it was Martin Bashir’s interview with Michael Jackson that helped turn public opinion against him, ultimately drove him from his own home, and basically destroyed his life. Martin Bashir ingratiated his way into the lives of two vulnerable icons, gained their trust, and ruined their lives. I’ve always hated Martin Bashir for what he did to Michael, I wasn’t aware until now that he did the same thing to the Princess of Wales, so I sincerely hope that while they are investigating Martin Bashir and the BBC in regards to the Diana interview, they will also examine the circumstances of Bashir’s interview with Michael. Michael WILL be exonerated, his millions of fans know that he is innocent.
What people? He overdosed on drugs unfortunately and his doctor went to jail for it (he should have got more time though imo).
@@deadpaul6415 it was the doctor's fault he died, he was an innocent man and he had to take medicines cause he was going through a lot of pain and he had breathing problems. The doctor went to jail because he was the one who overdosed him with drugs. Michael was an AMAZING HUMANITARIAN AND A GIFT TO MANKIND, he only spread positivity peace, and love. I'm only 15 and he died when I was young, but I'm lucky to know about him and listen to the great art he left behind. Because he was such an amazing person people made false accusations against him because he had a good influence and they were simply jealous. Only people who are mentally ill think he wasn't a good person, he was extremely human and one of the best people ever existed.
This album was written and performed after the negativity against him, the fact he could sing and write these songs still relevent today is a testament to how great he was
I did not understand the quality of the music and the genius vocals by Michael on this song.. After 27 years, it is a bittersweet feeling to notice all that. This guy was a pure genius. A pure genius…

100% Those that truly research the facts and see the major inconsistencies in all of the accusations against Michael will see it clear as day.
