When the Betts trade happened it was the best trade for LA in a good while, but holy crap is anyone else extremely stoked that the Red Sox pulled out at the last minute and practically gifted us Graterol?!?!? This kid was phenomenal this year and I hope he’s here to stay!!
@Keelan Stewart originally tho Graterol was going to be sent to the Red Sox and not us. After the Sox found out about his problematic physical they pulled out and we swooped in and nabbed Graterol.
This kid’s gonna be special for a long time

The Twins needed a starter, Graterol will never be a starting pitcher, besides Maeda was a Cy Young candidate this year so I'm sure they were happy with the trade considering Maeda's deal is extremely team friendly. A win win for both teams.

@@AyooGee1 he's had injury problems already, he's had tommy john surgery and with the velocity he throws at he won't make it as a starting pitcher. He's best suited to be a set up reliever or a closer
Of course nobody will ever fill Vin's shoes and I'm sure Joe would be the first to acknowledge this - that being said, Joe Davis is a phenomenal announcer and we are blessed to have him along with Orel. Hope he goes as long as Vinny.

@@westoftherockies As an elite closer, yes. Or even as a closer. As an effective bullpen arm with Knebel and Graterol getting the high leverage spots, I still trust Kenley. Sorta like Pedro Baez this year, came up big for us even with his WS Game 4 letdown and past letdowns.
