EISENHOWER TUNNEL | Highest and Longest Vehicular Tunnel in US | I-70W | Life of Werner OTR Rookie

May 22, 2021 Come along on a ride through the Dwight D. Eisenhower Tunnel. We have a fun ride through the longest and highest vehicular tunnel in the US Interstate System!! Built in 1973 it's an amazing 1.693 miles (2.72 km) long and at an impressive elevation, as high as 11,158. It takes us under the Continental Divide and to the west side of the Eisenhower Summit, to the start of a very scary part of I-70. Ready? Don't hold your breath! And take off those sunglasses!

Hey there!! We did a few runs through there. It's coming up in videos. We got some really good footage on the gopro. Still catching up on videos. And, funny you should ask, Kevin actually just got into Nevada an hour ago, heading to San Francisco from Omaha.
