I have had a similar experience, someone wanted to sign me as an artist in His band, but they did worldly music. I told him I couldn't because of the music they do, He was trying to convince me that I would only back up his other artists if necessary, then I could be recording my Christian music. It looked attractive then, but I turned it down and I'm grateful I did.
Thank you ma, God bless you for always sharing.

I totally understand what you said about losing a loved one early in life. Truly, one becomes able to process similar occurrences and also able to comfort others who go through same.

I also went to a boarding school and I can understand totally relate. I was picked by my father and uncle from FGGC Bwari Abuja when I was in Jss2 all to go home and see my mother's obituary. I was picked up from school on a Thursday, wake keeping on Friday, burial on Saturday and returned to school on Sunday. I lost my childhood that period and it was hard but it really moulded me. I attend TCN Abuja also. What a small world..

Just bumped into this video and decided to watch! Thank you for sharing ma'am. My take home would be the acting role you let go of. It reminds me of what Mrs Jumoke Adenowo said in an interview some years ago about a lady who intends to be a beauty queen in the nearest future acting like one now. So her actions and everything she does must reflect where she's headed to. Not totally related to your story but it re-emphasizes the importance of integrity. Then holding strongly to one's convictions and consecration. God always has a way of protecting us so we do not end up jeopardizing the great future He has for us. The issue is always with yielding and letting go of certain things for a greater future.

This is good news for the people of today's world because many are trading their soul for wealth , even the church world...may God continue to keep and preserve you and your family.

Thank you for sharing your story ma. Im glad you didnt take the role. Just maybe your spirit knew you were going to be a Role Model to a Generation someday and its saved you from the unnecessary drama because the media dont forget. Alot of people would have read meaning to that part of your life. I love to listen to you ma❤
