Im big into panfish now after fishing for over 50 years for big bass and big cats crappie are my favorite now and bluegill shell crackers as we call them in Florida are great fish to catch and great eating too.
Yes they sure are fun and great to eat. Sounds like you have been having some fun fishing.
Recently found your channel after taking up fishing. As a beginner your videos have been a godsend.
Thanks bud I’m glad I could help
I'd highly recommend the Rebel Crickhoppers. They're a little more pricey so it's aggravating when you snag one but I've caught bass, crappie, and bluegill on them a TON.
Yes they will slam a crickhopper
I love the bison color for panfish/crappie magnets (black and brown/tan) it’s caught me a ton of panfish in both clear and muddy water. I also like using them (panfish/crappie magnets) on a beetle spin I get more bites using them than with the grub that comes with the beetle spin
Yes! Love those crappie magnets. Sometimes if the bite is a little weird and I get a lot of misses on the beetlespin I’ll put a crappie magnet on and start catching them better.
Right on!!! A year later and still useful! 😎
Oh yes! That makes me happy ha. Thanks bud!
Another great video! Water here in South Texas area starting to dry up. Going to Louisiana in a few days. Can’t wait. Calcasieu River is up right now lots of rain. Fish on!
Thank you Phil! Yeah that water disappearing quick. I hope you catch them out at the cabin!
Awesome thanks for the tips🤘
Your welcome bud!
the curly tails are money.
They sure are $$
Going out tomorrow will try some of these!
Good luck bud!
hey bud. if curios there are smaller plastics that you could match the hatch depending on year. mud bugs helgramites all by BY baits wors pretty well. gills and even trout
The easy match the hatch on smaller plastics for me is with trout magnets. Caddis flies, and wax worms are smaller too and catch a ton of fish on light jig heads.
Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, czcams.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.
Yes that’s what I’m talking about Felipe!
Great video
Thanks bud!!
Thank you for these videos. I have always loved fishing as a kid but pretty much only used a spoon for everything. Now that I'm a dad of a 3 year-old im trying to learn more to increase his chances of catching some of these little fish. So thank you again for all the advice!
Your welcome bud! I used to take my boy when he was that same age and you can’t beat live worms under a bobber. 3 year olds can only stand about an hour or 2 of fishing usually and that setup almost always catches them and keeps their attention.
@@TBassFactory appreciate it doing it all from a wheelchair has changed the ease of fishing lol!
Unfortunately, my favorite go-to panfish plastic is no longer made… the Yum 1 1/2” Woolly Curly Tail on a 1/16 oz. RoadRunner. Seemed to catch only the bigger (1/2 lb. or better) bluegills for some reason. Don’t know why they were discontinued.
That’s a good question those did work so good. I used to fish with those too.
You should also try Berkley gulp 1 inch minnows
Yes I need to try those and see what I can catch. Thanks bud!
Nice
Thanks bud!
Can i get them in a van down by the river?
Yes but only if your name is mick foley
@@TBassFactory Matt Foley. Mick jumps off of high steel cages. 😁
lol just bought some - edit bro put an amazon link up for the fish wax worms - i coulda got you some money.... [I know the game lol - but you serving good content]
Ha yep I sure could, thanks bud!
Looks like you're about to scream because of those 2 veins in your necks
Yes! Don’t make me angry I turn green too! Ha 😂
@@TBassFactory 🤣🤣
A big bobber is not necessary ! Most of the time it spooks the fish ! Its hilarious that you use a tiny lure, and a huge bobber to create a huge splash, ha ha ha, get smart !
Ha yep I need to. Thanks Peggy I appreciate it.
What’s hilarious is you telling people to get smart but then proudly displaying a lack of understanding about basic punctuation. Go back to fourth grade.
Sounds like a COVER UP for a bunch of COWARDS

Yes! Politicians should not be acting like this!
