X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse is the sequel to the 2004 X-Men Legends. It was released in 2005 for the Xbox, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Gamecube. It even received an N-Gage release. It is an action roleplaying game that allows you to choose and control a team of 4 out of a pool of 18 playable characters from the X-Men universe. It was well received at time of release and is one of the predecessors to to the very popular Marvel Ultimate Alliance games.

Don't forget I think you can switch out abilities

Yes you are right. It's really clunky to do in combat when there is a lot going on but you can switch mid fight without going into the menu.
