Found the egg by complete accident while I was leveling up my shiny venipede, and found a really fun and efficient way to hatch eggs is actually by flying to frostveil and doing the downhill ski minigame. It counts for a ton of steps and it only took a small handful of trips down the hill to hatch the egg. (Mind you I had a slugma in my party as well so that definitely helps)

I was on my way to rosecove beach and was going to use surf to finally get the good rod when I found the egg i took it in and used surf when i got stuck and couldn't move, i then use fly to rosecove beach to unstuck myself and when i made my way to the beach i found another egg
