my first crochet teddy! 7 days but so worth it, you've helped me understand the terminology in written form by watching you do each stitch, thank you! Now to order some stuffing so I don't have to steal some from one of my dog's many broken toys 🥰

Hi!!!!!! Awww, I’m so glad you are happy with it! 🥰 it was a challenge for me as well, I’ve had this elephant sitting for almost a year, with round ears I didn’t like. I skipped past the monkey, and thought I was doing an easier one after all the giraffe parts, until I started videoing it, lol. I’m doing the hippo now, and hoping it’s easier and not too plain. Maybe see ya in that one too. ❤️😊❤️

I skipped videoing the monkey cause there were so many parts to sew on the giraffe I thought we needed a sewing break, then I added so much extra to the elephant, it didn’t matter, still lots to do, lol. But I’m glad you love em. 🥰 I’m getting a pile up in the video room 😉

Aww thanks, if you struggle a bit at the start of this one, I do have another little one that’s round and way easier. It’s not the best photo of them, but I think they are just as cute. 😊 You know I’ve tried to decide how I crochet ever since I learned about over under, and under under. I’m pretty sure I do over over, it’s hard to tell cause I kinda grab and twist. But I did try what I thought was going under and it felt awkward, lol. So I go with over over. ❤️😊☺️

There was much more benefit from yours. I love crocheting so much, but I’m still not fond of the videoing part, comments like this are what keeps me going every time I think about speeding up, chopping out parts or videoing and counting out those big blocks of repeat rows, lol. Forgot to hit the like button when I made my first one. Now my sister has ordered one for her grandson so I'm starting it today. Using your recommended hook instead of the yarn recommended hook like last time.
Oh that’s awesome! My general rule of thumb for these guys is to go down at least two hook sizes than what’s recommended for the yarn. 🥰

I just followed your tutorial and made my very first amigurumi elephant for my best friend’s birthday!!! I used heavy weighted yarn and an 8mm hook with 20mm eyes to make it bigger and it turned out amazing!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial ❤️❤️❤️

@rhondadawnbutler thank you ♡ it started around Thanksgiving and it's one sickness after the other. Sicknesses I didn't even know you could have together! Yesterday I was treated for covid, strep throat & an ear infection. My daughter has the same. The poor thing.. I'll be glad when it'd all over lol..and when summer comes around so we don't pick up every germ from school lol
