Many of you have been asking about readathons and how to get involved. And since I’ve been loving participating in readathon’s recently, I wanted to start documenting the experiences, and share the same opportunities with you all. (Plus other bookish things!)
I get pretty chatty, but I’m telling myself that’s okay. I know the image quality is not the best for TV, (I edit on an iPad, and it looks great there) but I’ve got to work with the tools I have, and that means an iPhoneXR. (I’m still learning). Kind feedback is always appreciated. Thanks for making this a safe place for me to share my thoughts on books. 🫶🏼

I am also a readathon newbie! I have been wanting to join in on one but always seem to hear about them after fact. Thank you for sharing these!! I ran to sign up for the Hunger Games readathon 🎉 Loved the format of this video and hope it will be a monthly occurrence! Looking forward to your next videos ❤
Me too! I didn’t even know readathons like this were a thing til this year, and I hate missing out on the fun. I’ll do my best to share what I find with y’all. 🫶🏼
I’m a readathon newbie. In July I’m excited to participate in Summerween but I can’t possibly read 5 books in a week, so I’ve instead chosen one book that I think will hit all five prompts! It feels like a digestible way to dip my toe into readathons. Good luck with whichever one you decide to participate in and I can’t wait to see your new journal set up! 🤩

@@manda_made I *think* When No One is Watching by Alyssa Cole. The only prompt I'm not sure if it will cover is set in summer. I tried Googling, but didn't look too closely bc spoilers 😅
I’ve been hearing a bunch about readathons but I feel like I don’t read enough quantity or fast enough to do one 😭
Some Readathons do have the pressure to read a lot, but there are many that are every-book-counts. I think the Disney readathon would be great for people who average a minimum of 3 books a month.
Realmathon in March is wonderful for this too. Every book helps your team, so you can read 2 and someone else reads 20, and it all gets averaged at the end. As long as you are having fun, and pushing yourself to read a LITTLE more than usual, that’s what counts!
