The HU - The Great Chinggis Khaan (English Lyrics):
Blessed from heaven to his queen mother
Brought unity to blue sealed Mongols
The bearer of the eternal Tengri
The lord of the Khamag Mongol
The Great Chinggis Khaan
Called by Teb Tengri
Bestowed to enrich the world
The bearer of the eternal Tengri
The lord of the blue Mongol
The Great Chinggis Khaan
The king of the great Mongols
The king of the blue world
The scourge of the eternal Tengri
The Great Chinggis Khaan
Cherished the wisdom of thinkers
Declared deliverance and the Gereg
The bearer of the eternal Tengri
The king of the blue world
The Great Chinggis Khaan
Knees be knelt and heads be bowed
Engaged the world with the wisdom of Tengri
Declared the empire with law and order
The scourge of the eternal Tengri
The Great Chinggis Khaan
The Great Chinggis Khaan
The bearer of the eternal Tengri
The Great Chinggis Khaan
The token of the blue Mongol
The Great Chinggis Khaan
The scourge of the Tengri
The Great Chinggis Khaan
The equilibrium of all
The Great Chinggis Khaan
The scourge of the eternal Tengri
The Great Chinggis Khaan

@@sTorMaDa When Genghis Khan died, he left behind 129,000 Mongolian troops and 200,000 Han troops. During the reign of Kublai Khan, Han troops accounted for more than 90%. Without the Han army, there would be no Mongolian Empire. What is the origin of Khan? Before the Han Dynasty, the leaders of nomadic were called Chanyu单于. Of course, Genghis Khan was a very good leader. When he was alive, the Han and Mongolians were allies, fighting against their common enemy, the Jurchens. Mongols are our ancestral cousins. So much of our culture is similar to theirs.
It is BEAUTIFUL!
🐺🐺
actually, Mongolians are the group closest genetically to Native Americans so your culture likely shares some similarities and are descendants
as we do share ancestral genetics, that means very little for culture, what does matter is geography, which is why many would get confused and compare, the only native americans that compare are those of the great plains and badlands, such as the majority of the Siouan peoples (of which I am oglala and hunkpapa, Lakota), and the many smaller tribes, but that doesn't mean those who don't come these regions don't shore some cultural similarities, such as shaminism and a propensity to getting invaded and genocided to an insignificant amount by white settlers, oh and the use of horses for combat was also used by the peoples of the deserts and swamps as well with varying degrees of success.

1. There's an overwhelming mountain
Do not think “How to overcome it”
Will and it will be conquered
There's an uncrossable river
Do not think “How can one pass it"
If your will is to pass, you shall pass
2. This body is fragile but the noble name is eternal.
3. I will rejoice when the world unites again as one family prospering in peace.
There are many wicked, cruel and coveted kings around us. They act as they like, causing suffering to many, constantly warring with each other, wasting human life like sand in the wind.
So we want to make them peaceful. If we can do so, it will be virtue in the eyes of the higher heavens and auspicious to the lower beings.
4. To his sons and generals: “Find out what the people of different tribes think. Without knowing what they think and what they want, how can we lead them”
5. Fix oneself, then fix your family, fix your family and then fix your nation.

All hail the King of the kings, great Chinggis Khaan.
FYI: The background mountain seen in the video is called "Burkhan Khaldun", which is sacred landscape of Mongolia.
The mountain is situated in the north-east of the country in the central part of the Khentii mountain chain where the vast Central Asian steppe meets the coniferous forests of the Siberian taiga.
Burkhan Khaldun is associated with the worship of sacred mountains, rivers and ovoo-s (shamanic rock cairns), in which ceremonies have been shaped by a fusion of ancient shamanic practices. The site is also believed to be the place of Chinggis Khaan’s birth and burial. It testifies to his efforts to establish mountain worship as an important part of the unification of the Mongol people.

I played this while waiting for my food in the local Chinese restaurant. Now there's a wall around the restaurant and a lot scared Chinese people inside.

So, so true!
@Burning The House Of God don't be a dick.
Damn right. I haven't had goosebumps or that feeling like something primordial is being released from music in a long time. This shit takes us back to our ancestors. Long live The Hu \m/
Oh yes
@Burning The House Of God Easy boy, nobody's been asshole with you, respect! YOu're so salty for nothing XD
1st time: Not sure about the video tbh
2nd time: Good song tho
3rd time: IKH CHINGGIS KHAAAAAAN
Copycat from another video haha
copycat maybe, but its the most accurate use of that copy
First song for me. This is how I learn different languages. The thing I respect most of Chinggis khaan is that he respected other peoples way of living and allowed non-mongolians in his cabinet. Something we Americans should learn from.
Not really respect. More like pragmatism. He knew he was good at warfare but not at governing. Allowing a great deal of freedom to conquered populace and allowing them to administer themselves ensure minimal rebellion. That and massacring any opposition. Carrot and stick approach as some would call it
Honestly same
Salute to my all hun brothers…
THE HU!!!!! БОЖИЙ ДАР ВЕЛИКОГО НАРОДА!!!!!
My Finnish mother (who just turned 65) has been obsessed with The Hu since mid-2019. During every holiday we have celebrated for the past year, she has played their music for her guests on repeat, hahaha. Mongolia's her new dream destination, and she's desperately been attempting to talk her boyfriend into also wanting to travel there. 😂
She's seen them live twice (taking my brother to both concerts; brought me along for the 2nd concert as well): in Copenhagen (Pumpehuset), and in Aarhus (VoxHall), Denmark. She got super excited when she noticed another group of concert-goers consisting of ladies her-age-or-older enter the premises too, pointing them out to us with glee. 😁
Good mother :)

This comment cheered me up! Love how music can unite people all over the world.
That's obviously because Finns are Mongolian. Didn't you know?
I really hope HBO or Netflix or some big budget company picks up the idea of making a series about Chinggis Khan.
Because his life story is something straight out of a epic novel.
Growing up with odds stacked against him.
Sold as a slave.
Manage to gain his freedom through his own hands and merits.
Story of comradeship with his blood brother.
Betrayal.
Saving his wife from kidnapping from another tribe.
Running away with his family just trying to live a normal life.
Ends up finding out that running away from your problems the problems will eventually catch up to you.
So best way to deal with them is to take matters into your own hands and conquer them and anyone who potentially might cause you problems in the future.
Ends up uniting most if not all mongol tribes.
Proceeds to conquer the rest of the world.

Do you know the origin of the word Khan? Before the Han Dynasty, the leaders of nomadic tribes were called Chanyu单于。The genes of the tombs of Genghis Khan's grandfather and grandson are O-F254, and O-F254 is the gene of Liu Bang, the emperor of the Han Dynasty. But the tomb of Genghis Khan himself has not been found.

Your English is excellent, and we're happy to see you here! Добро пожаловать! (I use google translate because very few of us Texans know much Russian.) 🤘
Siberia is what happens when Mongols and Russians meet.
The rest of the world looks nervous.
the US doesn't even speak english anyway we speak broken english as i like to call it. see english is from England and American is Native American what the US speaks is a broken language we developed over time. (i'm from Boston MA born and raised)
@@kitkens2 Languages develop all the time, what England speaks now isn't the English from the 18th century, and definitely not old or middle English. Even heard that the southern US accent is closer to the English of the 18th century than the modern british English of today.
It kinda amazes me how English is still relatively uniform over so many countries tbh, in the Netherlands and Belgium if everyone spoke in their regional dialects a lot of people wouldn't even understand each other. Twents or Gronings is not understandable for people in west-vlamingen or Zeeland for example and vice versa, and this in such a relatively small area.
We all know standard Dutch though so it's not that much of a problem.
English itself is a fusion of many languages and British English isn't a holy grail of purity, but a fusion of many languages (Norse, Frisian, French, Latin, German, Celtic). Don't put yourself down because you speak a slightly different version of English from the Brits
I am Mongolian woman. We kept natural own nomadic tradition for so many years. Maybe, our younger brothers wanted to share natural sound for the world. We was born from sky (heaven), we live under heaven between mountain and river with family and friends. We are named weselves as human, actually we are animal from nature. Khan always remembered for all, and wanted to live piecefully all together in one one world under one sun.
