All people saying Argentinians don't appreciate Messi and he should leave are such hypocrites and don't even get your facts straight. We are more than aware of everything Messi has done for us and he is a true idol in our country, we owe it all to him. Hi, I'm argentinean, and want to thank you for such an amazing video. The editing was superb and I feel Seth Rogen captured most of our passion and our way of thinking except for one thing:
Messi doesn't owe us anything, and the great majority of this country feels it that way.
Now, who's bigger? I believe they are equals on terms of quality, but Maradona had something special that you can't describe... He was a larger than life figure, that would somehow inspire a city like Napoles, or a nation like Argentina, to believe in the impossible, to believe that it doesn't matter how poor you were when you were born, or whatever circumstances you had growing up, you can always dream, and dream big.
I'm not saying Messi doesn't make you believe in that, but is just a matter of charisma and leadership, that's what makes it different.
I still love both obviously, and I would LOVE for Messi to win the World Cup, but if he doesn't it's not on him, he's done more than enough.
