Snowpeak M60B First Impression

- Got a new gun to play with in 2024.
It is a Snowpeak M60B, bottle version of a .22 calibre PCP. At first glance, it looks just like my FX Impact MK2, but a lot cheaper. Wesley of Airgunarcheryfun.ca has sent me this rifle to play with.
My first impression of this gun when I held it in my hands was good. It feels solidly build and the machinery is good as well. I have watched some CZcams videos reviews and the feedbacks were positive. When I saw the picture of the gun, I didn't feel that it would be a decent gun especially when I have my expensive Impact.
But I have changed my mind now that I have it in my hands. I will try to go out to the field and do some velocity and accuracy tests as soon as the weather permits. Too cold and too much snow at the moment.
Stay tune for the next video, but for the meantime, let me share my thoughts about this affordable PCP that might be a catch of the day.

I am glad you are going to review this particular air rifle. I seen it on other channels, but not someone as reputable as you. So I look forward to seeing how you review it tweak it tune it and your final opinion on this particular air rifle. I love the fs impact design as well as the profit, but they seem always out of my price range so I've been wanting one for a couple of years. I like this design of the m60b and the one you have seems to be upgraded too from the ones that they showed previously on other channels. So I'll be eagerly waiting your next video on this subject.

There is no money involved as I chose it to be as such. I will test it and give it my honest opinion and since I have an Impact, I can do a direct comparison to see if this rifle can hang with the more expensive guns in the market. Hopefully it will shoot well and then it is a win win situation for me and for those who are looking for affordable PCP to play with.
Yes, it has the newer design with the fill probe adaptor attached to the tank. Much better system to fill now.

Can't wait to see it shoot! I like the looks of it. I've seen this b fore someone else's video. It shoots very good. Don't know if it will match the impact tho lol. But it will shoot 100 yards easily. 24" barrel is easy peezy. I just purchased the Air Venturi Avengers Bullpup. Testing it as well. It shoots very good. 177 version for me. Hope you are doing well!
Thanks Ed. I can't wait to shoot it either lol. Too much rain for me to go outside. So far I have seen some reviews about the accuracy of this gun, but I will find out first hand if that is true or not.

If the impact and a Prophet had a baby this is what it would look like. I like this gun very much especially in .22 cal. Maybe the best choice for someone that doesn’t want to spend 2K plus. I have 2 snow peak guns the Bandit and the Notos and both have been flawless out of the box. Great value and accurate. Congratulations! Not bad for 600 bucks.👍

He has new shipment in and with the new fill valve design. Much better system so you don’t need to remove bottle to fill it up.
Here in Zimbabwe and in South Africa you can get a plenum for the m60B and you can get it shooting 25.39 knockouts at 980fps

Currently deciding between this and the P35X which is just being launched.
The P35X looks nice. Cost a bit more I think. My M60B first shoot video will be out this coming Saturday. Have a look and see, thanks.
@@ARP-airriflepestings Over here in Spain the M60B is about €680 and I've seen the P35X for €579. I like the fact that the M60 would be easier to modify, thinking of a smaller carbon bottle and shortening the barrel a bit. But the P35X is really good looking and short and lightweight already.
@@user-tl1fh3ro6r oh, I didn't realize the M60B is more expensive. Yes it can be switched to a carbon fibre bottle. I might add that later on. I think the most important is how the gun shoots, and I agree the P35X looks nice and compact.

Basically this rifle has an accurate and powerfull.. with .177 its an enough for 100 yards shooting duck..

Maybe. I will test and see how this gun shoots when I get a chance, so judge me afterwards. FYI, I received this gun to play with and I can assure you that no money was involved. I shoot it like it is and hopefully I can tune it to make it better. Once the gun shoots well and if someone wants it then I unload it for the supplier. I get to play with new toy and that is all. What is the plenum size on this gun?
