I just had this recommended to me on my TIDAL app and honestly I don't think I have ever been so enthralled by ANY new artist I have ever encountered. Mei is really pioneering her own sound, she has a lot of the Japanese influences that I like ( I listen to a lot of Japanese music ) But yet she has a totally authentic indie NYC sound.
