  • Jisung Park, who receives a PhD in economics from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts & Sciences in May 2017, researches how the impacts of climate change will affect human productivity and economic health. Affiliated with the Harvard environmental economics program, Park has analyzed how the heat stress from rising temperatures due to global warming will impact labor productivity and academic performance. He also received one of the inaugural grants from the President’s Climate Change Solutions Fund, established by Harvard President Drew Faust to encourage multidisciplinary research that hastens the transition from carbon-based energy systems to those that rely on renewable energy sources, and to propel innovations that accelerate progress toward a cleaner and greener world.
