We need to both watch Dimash‘s songs on his channel, and especially to start conversations there, that generate many new comments, and we need to support the reactors as well. When reactors don’t react, Dimash’s views stay low, because they are the ones that inform non-Dears, that there is a new song.
We already know, but casual fans or people who don’t know him, don’t get the notifications and couldn’t watch the video!
With every new reaction Dimash gets a few or even many new Dears that then visit his website or even go to his concerts. 😊

@@EllaSilentDragon Yes. Dimash used to have more views, and his subscribers were growing quickly, until he hired yoola to copyright block almost everything. A lot of the best professional reactors, like Charismatic Voice and Ken Tamplin, will not react to Dimash anymore because of this, although he's their favorite artist. Another totally independent artist I follow, who also doesn't have radio-friendly music, courts reactors, and contacts the best ones to offer them exclusive interviews for their channels. He whitelists all decent reaction channels so they never get blocked or claimed, and encourages them to monetize their reactions. He actually sends them links of his new songs so they can film their reactions *before* the official youtube releases! The result? He added over 1.25 Million subscribers in the last 12 months, a million more than Dimash added in the same time frame. In the last 12 months, he had the #1 selling album in the UK, and charted #4 best-selling album on Billboard. He was invited to meetings with executives from youtube, amazon, and spotify to talk about how they can help promote independent artists (he flew to LA for the meetings while Dimash was living there!). He's generated a ton of buzz - from such diverse corners as CNN, BBC to Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber - and everything he uploads now goes viral. All of this without giving a single concert because he's in a medical clinic with an IV in his arm for chronic medical problems. He's been able to achieve phenomenal success without a manager or promoter...just by understanding how youtube works. It's a shame that the world's greatest vocalist hasn't done the same.

Questo è il secondo lavoro di Dimash in collaborazione con Dmytro Gordon e la paroliera Candice Kelly (il primo è stato “When I've Got You”): è una fase più commerciale con l'inclusione di strumenti tradizionali kazaki (in questo caso, il “dombra” rende gli arpeggi simili a quelli di una chitarra). Dimash ha un lavoro molto progressista, libero da vincoli commerciali. Mette alla prova e gioca con i suoi fan!
Il marketing per questa canzone è stato audace e davvero brillante: in primo luogo, la canzone è stata pubblicata in un'esibizione dal vivo allo spettacolo di Hong Kong. Successivamente è stato rilasciato un teaser del video ufficiale con il ritornello della canzone. Da quel momento in poi, il ritornello era già registrato in modo subliminale nella mente degli spettatori! La canzone completa è stata pubblicata sulle principali piattaforme, rendendo sia il ritornello che la parte operistica più naturali per i reattori e i fan. Qualche tempo dopo, quando tutti aspettavano il video ufficiale, ha pubblicato un video di performance, con danze e ballerini bellissimi! Adesso il ritornello lo cantano i reattori e i tifosi! Un mese dopo pubblica il video ufficiale con una trama intrigante e un “plot twist” degno del cinema: Ottimo lavoro di Dimash e del suo team!

Ciao Giacomo,, aspettavo come sempre la tua reazione a SMOKE di Dimash .Devo dire che hai quasi ripetuto le mie parole quando lo ascoltata per la prima volta,nel senso che Dimash ha sempre delle idee musicali molto diverse da ogni genere ascoltato sino ad ora da qualsiasi altro artista, è facilmente riconoscibile il suo genere,ma allo stesso tempo come dici tu è inclassificabile in modo positivo naturalmente,del resto la musica di Dimash è sempre più innovativa.cDimash fa musica completamente in autonomia,lui è sia autore della musica che dei testi ,si autoproduce e in questo caso ha collaborato con due musicisti molto bravi,,,Kandis Kelly e Dmytro Gordon . Il lavoro di Dimash è bello originale e inclassificabile come del resto lo è la sua voce ☺️👋👋

It certainly is different! In my thinking it is one of those songs that if I'm working with a pop station on, my ear is instantly grabbed by its stand out qualities. If I didn't know Dimash I soon would want to hear and know more from and about this very interesting artist. The uniquely blended sounds creates a thirst💦 for more Dimash!!🏞️ Extremely refreshing😄

La prima volta l'ho sentita live al concerto di Honk Kong dicembre '23. La canta uguale, molto bello l'attacco iniziale. Secondo me l'area da sopranista è molto confortevole per D. Sforza molto meno rispetto se canta di testa. È troppo bravo. Grazie per la reazione.

All the backing singers (choirs) are actually Dimash, also the guitar sounds, again, Dimash, but it's a Dombra he is playing. He always likes to add traditional Kazakh folk instruments to his songs. The criminals were all caught by the police. You could see the red and blue flashing lights just before they tried to run away ❤ As a truly independent artist with his own studios, creative centre and access to film professionals, other musician friends he wants total freedom. He has obviously been approached by studios, but he won't sign with anyone. That nake his life harder to access some tv abd radio, but not all. It's just western studios who are not receptive to free spirits like Dimash. He knows a vast amount of people in the business so he will get there, but his way ❤

L'occidente musicale è in declino come la sua società. Se gli studi occidentali accettassero un Dimash come ospite, chi altri oserebbe cantare ancora?? Prendi Sanremo in Italia, una vergogna, un insulto alla canzone in genere, se invitano Dimash cosa rimane degli altri?
His mastery of his vocals is his indisputable signature. No one else even comes close.
I really liked his venture into pop. Great sound for him.
The video was charming & fun.
It all pieced together in the end.

However, i didn't much enjoy the half & half division between pop & siren. He could have left out at least 4 of those siren warnings, imo. To me, it was like trying to enjoy a painting in a gallery that doesn't have the element of mostly. When the painting is divided in the middle, it jars us into the other half instead of allowing us to flow into the entirity. We don't chuckle to ourselves until after we read the title of Divivisiness.
Hard to explain, but the same experience was felt with this song & video.
I hope he produces more of these but allows us to enjoy the scene without abrubtness.

Anch'io lo ascolterei in radio... Il problema è portarcelo alle radio! Anche When I've got you potrebbe essere radiofonica ma il problema è che se noi dears chiediamo le canzoni o non riceviamo risposta oppure è un "no, grazie".
Al momento solo una radio in Italia ogni tanto trasmette qualcosa di Dimash. Non so se il problema è che Dimash non ha casa discografica nota con cui le radio possano contrattare.
Ciao Chiara, non saprei davvero. Sinceramente non so come funzionano le dinamiche delle radio, io credo che accettino solo proposte da parte di case discografiche con cui già collaborano. È praticamente impossibile che accettino di trasmettere musica indipendente o tengano in considerazione proposte di privati.. credo sia quello il problema! Dimash dovrebbe firmare con una Major e da lì farsi strada (con tutti i pro e i contro del caso)

Bella reaction! Si hai ragione, probabilmente con questo brano sta cercando di incontrare un altro tipo di pubblico oltre al suo che già è stratosferico. Ma essendo kazako rimane comunque un cantante di nicchia, vuoi per lo stile dei suoi brani, vuoi perché sappiamo che la musica discografica da un bel po' di anni a questa parte, incentiva cose innominabili. Vabbè... Ascoltarlo significa pulirsi orecchie e cervello ed arricchirsi. In questo brano vedo un Dimash che come in I' ve get you, fa emergere il suo lato oscuro, da cattivo ragazzo😊Già il suo lato angelico e buono lo conosciamo bene, e ora eccolo a divertirsi a recitare in queste brevi storie, dense di atmosfera, note superlative e ancora e ancora suoni inaspettati. È un vulcano questo artista e ci stupisce sempre!

Ciao Giacomo, ti aspettavo al varco con questo video! Ero proprio curiosa di sentire il tuo commento! Il video è molto divertente, Dimash è autoironico, canta da Dio e sperimenta come gli pare e piace. Sicuramente è un artista che cerca sempre di imparare e di mettere il 100% dell’impegno in tutto ciò che fa. Pazienza se non è famoso come meriterebbe, soprattutto in Occidente. Credo che la cosa più importante per lui sia restare indipendente, anche se questo significa rinunciare alla visibilità che altri artisti, oggettivamente meno dotati, riescono a raggiungere con prodotti tutto sommato modesti. Dimash approccia tutte le vie della musica col massimo risultato consentito dal suo talento senza pari... ma di quali radio stai parlando, a cui farebbe l'occhiolino? Non certo quelle italiane, che lo ignorano completamente o fingono di non conoscerlo.
Per fortuna all'estero va meglio, specie in America latina dove ha un enorme seguito e le radio gli dedicano interi special. Forse saprai che in Europa esistono due stazioni radio interamente a lui dedicate che trasmettono solo la sua musica, nate dalla volontà di supplire l'assenza totale dalle radio ufficiali. Quello che purtroppo immeritatamente succede ancora in Italia. Suppongo sia uno di prezzi da pagare per essere un artista indipendente, che non si piega alla volontà della pseudomusica imposta dallo starsystem.
Dimash ha elevato l'asticella del canto così in alto che si può solo semplicemente ammirarlo, piuttosto che temerlo... è troppo oltre persino per le invidie.

Purtroppo per entrare nei palinsesti radiofonici (almeno in Italia, non so come funzioni all'estero) devi farti introdurre da case discografiche, major e produttori che hanno contatti diretti e accordi economici con le radio stesse. Quindi, per quanto il sound sia perfettamente inseribile all'interno di programmi radiofonici, questo non avviene per vari motivi... Deve solo trovare gli agganci giusti, ma non è detto che gli interessi. Il suo grosso successo è principalmente su CZcams e Spotify, quindi probabilmente vuole continuare a spingere su questi canali rimanendo indipendente.
Pat From Sicily, giuste considerazioni. I palinsesti radiofonici sono veramente deprimenti nella nostra Italia. Dimash lo capirebbero in pochi, anche se alcuni suoi brani potrebbero essere radiofonici. Si percorrano altre strade, se vogliamo, noi fans, che sia conosciuto nel nostro Paese. Che per quanto riguarda la musica, ma non solo, sta diventando una sorta di 'paesello'. 😅

Per il semplice motivo che ho già visto quel video e non mi piace per niente come la canta, quindi per evitare polemiche eviterò accuratamente quell'esibizione 😁

Michael Jackson è stato il re del pop e ha fatto la storia, ed è evidente che Dimash si ispira a lui (ovviamente NON nelle parti operistiche, ma ad esempio nelle strofe di questo brano si sente molto l'accostamento).

I don't really like it when Dimash is compared to MJ because he's an artist in his own right. But Dimash has said time and again that MJ's music had a significant impact on him and influenced his approach to his music. So yes, without the influence of MJ's music, Dimash's music would probably have sounded different than it does. I can't speak for him, but I think that is what Jack meant.

Beh ognuno ha i suoi gusti. Diciamo che se un fan di Dimash si aspetta quello che ha sempre fatto fin dall'inizio (per esempio sullo stile di SOS) sì rischia di "ingabbiare" Dimash limitandolo a un unico stile e genere musicale. Credo che lui invece voglia essere libero di esplorare vari generi musicali, perché è quello che fa un artista

DN: Dmytro, for 8 years you have been working alongside Walter Afanasieff in his company WallyWorld as a lead orchestrator and arranger, and you both have also written music for films.

What are the similarities and differences between producing music for renowned artists in the US and working with Dimash?
DG: „I would say that Dimash is much more open to experimentation than any other artist I have had the pleasure of working with so far. When it comes to an established artist with an existing fan base, they and their label are usually very cautious about trying new styles, new vocal techniques or anything that might confuse or alienate their core audience. And that makes sense, but the catch is that after a while their repertoire stagnates.
Dimash is the bravest artist I know to date: he deeply respects and cares about his dears, but he's not afraid to try new things, which he proves time and time again, including his latest releases. On a personal level, our collaboration has also evolved into a friendship, for which I'm forever grateful. It's much more authentic and fun to make music as friends, rather than just as collaborators. Ask the Beatles.
SMOKE... is completely modern, even experimental in certain aspects. Yes, it has an operatic vocalise in the choruses, but the context in which we hear it makes it impossible to pigeonhole it into a genre. It's also minimalist and open when it comes to the vocal melodies, harmonic content and instrumental textures (though it's not easy, and Dimash's unique vocal skills still shine through). Every musical decision in Smoke is super precise: take one thing away, and the song falls apart. Add another element - and it becomes oversaturated. That's how I would describe it.
... It's such a joy and an incredible privilege to work with Dimash, who I truly consider to be one of the best musicians in human history.
And then to receive all the love and gratitude from his fan base just feels heavenly. I'm so grateful to everyone who supported these new releases and who took the risk with us to open their hearts and ears to the new, unknown sides of Dimash.
