Raiden has been living for millenia before White Lotus Society even formed, So who is this new Raiden?
As for Scorpion, He died presumably decades, if not centuries prior to Liu Kang's birth. Only reason of his continual existence was the fact that he is undead.
I suspect this new Scorpion is *not* undead. Then is it Hanzo Hasashi or are we gonna see a new character adopting the mantle?
@furkanefeturec I'm guessing that by giving his powers to Liu Kang and sort of dying by Shang Tsung in Aftermath, Raiden has reincarnated as a human. As for Scorpion, that is not Hanzo Hasashi Scorpion. That is Kuai Liang Scorpion as both Scorpion and Subzero are brothers here and Subzero is Bi Han.
@@Kronosfobi Yeah the whole Raiden thing makes no sense. He was a god, created by the Elder Gods. He would've been "born" when Earthrealm was. It's not possible for him to be born to human parents simply by "changing the timeline".
Either way, I want protector God Raiden back. Original timeline Raiden was a beast and one of my favourite characters. It was he who set up the White Lotus to train champions, because he couldn't get directly involved (training them himself, competing, etc).
As for Scorpion, he never died that long ago. He was a modern day ninja, not an ancient one. His death may have only happened a few years before MK1, likely less than 10 years prior. Either way, it was NOT long ago like the live action movie wrote it.
As for Kuai Liang being Scorpion, that's just a random theory people threw out there (mostly as a joke) since Boon said they were brothers. There's no other evidence to it whatsoever. And even if it was true it would be stupid to give the most popular MK character's mantle and powers to the second most popular MK character. Changing them both competely.
@@EndoScorpion Hanzo Hasashi should be dead at least decades ago prior to Liu Kang's birth as he was around as Scorpion when our beloved Shujinko was still a young man in training.
We know for a fact that Shujinko spent decades in prison waiting to be released, Which means Scorpion is likely even older than Shujinko.
Makes him easly over 60 guaranteed.
Movie was dogshit, My reference is the older games when Shujinko is introduced.
I assumed the new Scorpion would be either Takeda or someone within the clan we saw in the comics, I dont know why people would think Kuai Liang, who is an excelltent character on his own, would be molded into something he is not.
Old Raiden was my favorite. They always handled his corruption arc poorly, but his corrupted self was done right in both versions.
Dark Raiden was ballsy enough to break his own morals and ressurrect Liu Kang as a corpse bent in vengeance.
While the MK 11 Raiden was ballsy enough to strike Netherrealm and tank hundreds of demons alone.
Im willing to let the character die if thats what it takes to finally take us further, but reincarnation sounds stupid.
He is a man who lived eons prior to story, much older than some immortals even.
Him reincarnating right at the tournement's last era, Without any Elder God's direct aid (as they are dead and Liu Kang doesnt posess half the magical knowledge required to pull that off) sounds bizarre.
MK1 theories are so interesting because this game and MK11 are like the two games that aren’t really rebooted versions of older games especially in MK1 which is a new timeline that has very little resemblance to the other timelines so anything could happen and it’s tearing me apart I need to know what happens
The ingame dialogue hints that elements from 11 such as timelines and time travel will be retuning

I think that the whole Mortal Kombat Tea thing is to celebrate the Mortal Kombat Tournament where the Great Kung Lao Won the tournament against Outworld and the time takes place as an anniversary to Earthrealm's victory. Since Liu Kang said that he would train the Great Kung Lao.
The tournament is redesigned as a friendly realm vs tournament. All realms compete. Liu Kang is generally excited to bring his defenders together. The local area where the portal will open is held near that tea house. It actually is promoting and celebrating the tournament.
My theory. Is because this is multi realm based. we will see fighters from the 3D area, ones representing Netherealm ,chaos realm, order realm outworld, and Earth.
This will be affected by Onaga.

my theory is that alot of characters will discover the truth about the reality they live in and feel someway towards Liu kang. Keep in mind Ed Boon got asked to do a Marvel game this might coincide; There is a famous Marvel story of when Dr Doom remade his entire universe in his image and created paradise for everyone. When everyone leaned the truth about the old timeline everyone saw him as a false god and turned against him in the worst way.
I think we might see something similar in The MK1 story
So in MK11 ending, Liu kang inviting Kung Lao to open the tea house with him in the NEW ERA. and they invent the boba of this era called 真人快打茶. 10/10 best story line of MK series so far.
I haven't seen the theory yet, BUT I wanted to tell you that the CIAO at the start caught me off guard. Your pronunciation was pretty good, however I have to nitpick the fact that "Come stai?" is used when talking to a singular person like if you were to say "How are you doing?", the plural form is "Come state?"

Theory: The trailers are a merge of the beginning and aftermath of Outworld's Tournament of the story. Because the 9th Tournament happened a few decades ago, but it became local thing, during that time. So possibly, we saw the beginning of this upcoming g Tournament and aftermath of Outworld Tournament too.
