I'm a huge fan of FORTNITE just like you and love putting together videos showing the evolution of Fortnite. It takes a lot of effort to create these videos but I'm proud of them. It takes me about 12-14 hours per video and requires a lot of research.

The light green area of Chapter 5 is my favorite part of any map ever. Being able to glide everywhere with flowberries + launchpads is so much fun and really rewarding once you figure out and study the map

I started somewhere in mid chapter 1, but I don’t know when and stopped playing. Than I played most of Chapter 2 because of Midas, and the mythics- along with the map. Chapter 3 was when I actually did not play, but I kind of did. Chapter 4, I just liked it, also the islands and map looked cool. Chapter 5 is good so far, but it just feels so complicated with all the mods, and new things. I still like the bosses, and new addons.
Overall, I like most seasons, and all the chapters.
My most odd memory is the map flipping over on one event.
I agree with how complicated it feels. The games simpleness is being torn apart in the past years and I don´t know why. Noone ever complained about the fact that there are no Reality-expansions or how they are called. Or that you aren´t able to slide

chapter 1 season 2-5 was a vibe. Nothing to worry about at the time, just chillin with friends grinding the battlepasses, havin a good'ol time. I mostly hibernated in save the world around mid season 2-5 lol. Other than that, just golden.

For me starting in ch1 Season 5 Honestly the seasons I liked or loved were ch 1 seasons 5, 6,7,8, X, ch 2 seasons 2-4 ch 3 season 1 ch4 season 2 OG Fortnite and chapter 5 is rlly good so far
This may be an uncommon opinion, keep in mind i started in chapter 1 season 3, but chapter two was my favorite. I had the most fun in ch2 from season 2 through 4 and has my favorite locations. The spy season, the flood season, and the marvel season were just great.
My second fav would be the first two seasons of ch4, and season 1. Then my least favorite was ch3 it had really good story but the map was so forgettable.
I agree, Chapter 2 was just so refreshing. It felt like a nice detailed and consistent update. Everything was very innovative, but not ovedone. Map was honestly the best.
@@sirocc4933 I think the length of season 1 ruined it for a lot of people and they stopped playing, so many don't realize how good the follow up seasons were.

I play session 4 og map good old times but mines got banned or the skin from bo there goan for some reason but Ail A had the same problem that i had every sad his account was goan same for me 😢😭when they had new map it just got crazy 😮
in chapter 2 i really wanted for epic to make more maps and less seasons, but after ch3 and ch4 i dont want this no more. game feels lifeless with these short chapters, no lore basically nothing.

In the past, when the chapters lasted longer, you memorized all the chests in the locations, but now with short chapters, you no longer miss the map, you no longer miss falling into a specific place

@@novanxplus6274yeah, the movement and graphics are a bit much since we was in og for quite a while the graphics were good for my eyes when i first got into a battle royale on chapter 5 the graphics made me feel a bit sick

Because we did not enjoy it. We enjoyed chapter 1, so we kind of have no need to get it back. But we did not fully enjoy chapter 2 because everyone wanted chapter 1 back
i only ever played the first 3 seasons back when video games were my life but then i had a big promotion and went through life changes, i finally played for the first time in a while the other day and omg ive never witnessed a game change so much
I started playing in chapter 1, season 7-10. I can’t quite remember and I stopped playing late chapter 3 but came back for OG season. Chapter 5 is a bit complicated, but I like most of it! It’s great to see that epic won’t stop updating. The game is amazing! And the maps are a beauty. I took long to write this but it doesn’t matter! I really liked almost every season but…I was sad to see Midas go….I liked him alottt and always landed right on him. I hope epic gives us one more chance of the coral cruiser as well. I didn’t have the battle pass but I LOvED that season. I hope I can see it come back again! I’m crossing my fingers, wishing for the best on Fortnite. This game is my childhood and it will never end for me. I love this game so much! It’s so amazing!!! I’ll never stop playing this game of my childhood…it seems that this comment cannot end! But also……….

I don’t see why people like the chapter 5 map so much. Here’s my
Opinion:
I think we need more POIs. However it is only season 1, so not the biggest gripe. I think the locations need more diversity. Places like Fencing Fields and Pleasant Piazza are practically the same. I also think it missed the old magic of the Chapter 1 map, but that could be nostalgia. I think that because the chapter 1 map had towns, cities, houses etc that felt like people lived there and in general a fun and exciting map with diverse locations. Chapter 5 on the other hand, just feels like some meh villages. We did get Peter Griffin though.

Zylaz thank you for creating this wonderful video. Really appreciate it, as a player that hadnt been playing much fortnite since 2020, i wanted to know what happened to the map across seasons, and this video is just the best. Could easily become a documentary or something like that. Huge quality and production. Overall, 10/10 cinematic masterpiece.

i don't remember exactly when i started playing but maybe late chapter 1? i remember being so excited for the end event and nearly crying when me and my brother almost missed it. but i got to see! it really was awesome :^)

5:40 This Poi reminds of the new skin in the item shop. Starry Suburbs was so fun. It was like reality augments before reality augments. Stars would fall to the sky, and you could search them for a chance to get legendary weapons.

yeah i just dont know why they did that, vibrant colors are one of the reasons this game is beatiful and makes it different from other battle royales, why did they change that?

in my opinion, I think the Ch 5 map is the best one we've ever received, I just hope we get the same amount of variety of Ch 2, while keeping enough from each season passing by like Ch 1, like the great mix of Ice, Jungle, Desert and Neo themed landmarks on the Ch 1 map. But idk, anyone have any thoughts, pls no mean one : D

@@The400iq yea, I meant the amount of stuff we got, despite how much was removed, like the sand in ch w s5, and maybe if some of the map was still flooded and all that stayed, like in ch 1, I would love to see that, hopefully it won't mostly just be GREEN like last time😅

So basically I've played every single season sense season 1 chapter 1. Ofc I've played some seasons more than others but at least I played a few games each season.
my top 5 seasons:
5. chapter 5 season 1 - I honestly really enjoy chapter 5 right now. There isn't really anything crazy, and I love playing squads with my friends.
4. chapter 1 season 9 - I remember having a blast paying this season mostly because It was the end of the school year, so I didn't have to study so I basically played season 9 for hours per day. The combat is still my favorite shotgun to this day and the slipstreams saved my ass from the storm more times than I can count.
3. chapter 1 season 7 - Ima be honest, this season gameplay wise wasn't the best. But I have many amazing memories and events that happened during season 7. I got my first solo win (19 elims), and the vibe of winter and christmas was just to good.
2. chapter 2 season 2 - this season gameplay wise is my favorite. The mythic's were awesome and Playing squads with the boys was crazy.
1. chapter 1 season 3 - this map imo was the peak of the chapter 1 map. Even tho I was an absolute bot I still remember camping in bushes more than doing anything else in any other season.
I started playing chapter 1 season 3 but stopped like around chapter 2 season 7, now I'm back playing chapter 5

I really really really gonna miss the chapter 5 map, I picked Fortnite up because of the OG month, and I stayed because of the very good playable map of chapter 5. Not to much weird stuff. The only thing I hated was the blast shield. I hope i'll enjoy chapter 6 as much as 5.

The propblem is that the vicous cycle has already started with chapter 4.
Ch3 only 4 seasons ➡️ small ch4 map because of lack of development time ➡️ small map means it gets boring fast so only 4 seasons ➡️ small ch5 map because lack of development time ➡️ map gets boring faster because its small so only 4 seasons ➡️ ch5 only 4 seasons ➡️ ch6 map small because lack of development time.....etc

I like how the OG map is based on 1990-1980s set up style. Box TVs no systems and old school roads and cars seemed perfect .. but kow it’s like Italian or something … wish it wasn’t based off like this this

there are actually pretty neat ways to tell-
easiest for me is being the general colors and the fact that loot lake has 3 extra pieces of land in OG
if you look closely you can also see that trump tower from s5 is actually the no sweat building from s8
damn season 3 was lacking, also I didn't realise how much they added every other season in chapter 1, and chapter 2 would just change the grass colors every season or 2
