This was out of a cinema movie "Le Train", or "The Train" in English from the 1964s and it was a real derailment using withdrawn stock from the French National Railways. The locomotive was a 140 "Pershing" from WW1 and subsequently used by the constituent railways which later formed the SNCF. They were al withdrawn before 1950 and never carried official SNCF numbers.
The Pershings were one of the American war locomotive types of WW1, like the later WW2 S100-S160 and S200 types, and the British Austerity locomotives.
The realism in this train crash is not yet equalled by any special effects and CGI. It pictures a German military train on its journey trough France where French resistance sabotages the track and had cooperating locomotive crew, the movie actually has several train wrecks happening in it all being real, and tells about the efforts to prevent a train with stolen art to leave France.
