For 15 mins I tried to change the rear wiper and almost ripped it off. Voice in my head told me to checkout CZcams and saw ur vid. 1:31 into the vid had my answers. Boom, changed it within 60 seconds perfectly. Headache avoided!
I went with the 16A wiper though. Much wider cleaning path and still within the boundaries.

Thanks for the clear instructions - you saved me a bunch of time and frustration! BTW, works exactly same on 2008 rx400h. Bosch H352 14in rear wiper is also a perfect fit!

You're very welcome! I literally had an epiphany one day and said to myself "I wonder what is under this little plastic thingy" LOL! I had taken my car to several big chain places (Wal-Mart, Jiffy Lube, etc.) and none of their guys could figure out how to change that damn blade! I had it on their for some years before I figured out how to change it!!

Thank you for this post. I figured out how to remove the cap at the base of the arm but was stuck on removing the blade. Your explanation and demo were perfect.

Good thing I looked this up cause the Parts dude at Oriely Auto Parts in San Jose California told me that the Bolt securing the entire Wiper assembly had to be REMOVED! I am glad I stopped him and said I will install it myself.

Hi. I’m having the most difficult time getting that plastic cover off. You made it look very easy. I think I’m going break it if I try any harder. Hopefully knowing exactly what to do now it work the way it should. I would hate to loose that plastic cover.

The plastic tabs that hold it in place are kind of on the side...sometimes you just have to screw with it a bit...it may have tons of dirt and gunk underneath.

Video helpful saved me time, wish you also indicated it is 12” and which replacement brand you used. Looks like I got the wrong 12” style at Walmart. The short ones don’t come in many choices.

@@Thedudenurse At the end of the day, could not find replacement for any of wipers at Walmart. had to go to local auto parts or online parts retailer like rock auto.
I bought a 2005 from a friend a couple of months ago and every time I wash the rear window I look at that wiper an wonder how it would change out when it won't pull away from the window. Now I have my answer. Thank you for including the size and type of blade.

our 2005 RX 330 *Stock* back wiper lost its rubber piece that goes against the glass for 4 years now, we never found out how to replace it... Thanks!

Just watched both videos- front/back wipers for lexus rx350. PERFECT THANKS! was able to change them in 5 minutes! PS- i have 2007 rx350 with 186k. still luv it and no major repairs. How long will this car last? any other ideas for maintenance appreciated!

So glad I could help! Honestly, as long as you maintain the car well i.e. oil changes, brake fluid, etc. this car should last you easily another 100k! I am a big proponent of synthetic oil, it is just a superior product. I change the oil myself and I have a video on it here that shows you how. I will also include a link on how to change the brake pads on this car. My little brother filmed this when I went to visit him...its super easy! Hope this helps!

THANKS A MILLION CALLED 3 DIFFERENT LEXUS DEALSHIPS SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND ASKED THEM HOW DO CHANGE OUT BLADE. THEY WERE CLUELESS.
I called 2 different Lexus dealerships in the past and they too were clueless...but they sure could say "just bring it in and we will take a look". Thanks for watching!

on my 2007 rx, the plastic piece that holds the rear blade in place is snapped into the divot in which it locks itself in. I have tried using pliers and a freaking torch. Is there another way?
Hey there...it could just be really old and stuck on there...worst case scenario if you break all you really have is an exposed bolt and I bet you can find a spare piece on the internet or call up a body shop that does Lexus work or a scrap yard.

What does he mean "no tab"? Can't see for his fingers/camera angle. Thanks.
No tab meaning there is nothing to depress first before removing the blade. A lot of times you will have to press down on a tab or something in order to get the blade to release...not the case here. Thanks for watching!!
