Me too. I got series 2 flagship instead. There's like 10-15 YGs that could end up being big cards and 3-4 that already are.

I don’t know how you keep doing it lol I had to stop making videos because of the prices on these products now and let alone the prices, quality control, diluted products and the quality of the pulls have all been dog water lol regardless I love watching your videos and hearing your unbiased opinions on them, keep up the great vids! 👍
I AM SO HAPPY I started following you and GPsports to follow this "Lifestyle" I've been diligently listening, watching, and comparing... I am no pro yet, BUT I did just buy a bunch of stuff... FIRST REAL purchases's in YEARS... other than the box of un opened o Pee Chee 2008- 2009 tin for 7 bucks!! but I will make a video documenting "the PROCESS" of re starting card collecting and the ADDICTION which ensues!.... I literally bought 4 SP retail blasters from londong drugs for 36.99 each... then 2 hanger packs for 14.99, cleaned them out... THEN I bought 2 blasters of SP from a local hoppy shop 35 INCLUDING tax... DAMN way better deal at WALLY"S!! but from that BLASTER I PULLED a #d to 25 gold rookie auto!!!... stay tuned

I acknowledged your complaints on this product but i still think its a fun rip. Someone like me who cant spend the money on hobby can enjoy cracking a few open. A hot take for sure but i had more fun opening this than series 1 & 2. Disappointing knowing what it should have been but i think this crop of rookies makes it really fun to open. Beats pulling a no name young guns or a meme insert for the tenth time.
If they watered flagship and SP retail down, wait until they release artifacts retail… Will be 1 pack and no hits for $30

coming back to this video after seeing these blasters for $15 canadian wondering what is in them and if its worth it and rewatching this video its all coming back to me like i watched this yesterday lol these videos are a great recourse when looking at products i might buy and open.

We NEED someone like Panini to make a comeback to hockey or someone like Leaf or President's Choice to do something because more every year it gets clearer and clearer that Upper Deck knows they have ZERO competition and couldn't care less when it comes to quality control or this garbage. Pay $30.00 for glorified base cards and MAYBE one numbered card. Absolute joke
I agree competition would be good but please god not Panini. Look at how they are destroying the basketball and football market. AWFUL cards. Memorabilia patches that are not even associated to anything…
@@stevek6418 For me, it has come to the point where ripping is no longer feasible. Buying the exact cards i want on e bay is now the only smart option for me

Upper Deck has come to the point that they just do not care anymore! They're running a monopoly on licensed hockey products! I don't like unlicensed product. Looks cheap with no team logos. But we as consumers need UD to have competition! It's pitiful!

Bland card design but for $24.95 at a store near me (Toronto & Vaughan) I will try it. Looks like you get a lot of rookies. Also I can't afford to pay much more for a box of cards.
i bought 3, it was the biggest waste of money, I would have gotten more use out of the money if i burned it in a fire to make s'mores.

Honestly I am happy with this product. Obviously years past was much better but I pulled a purple #/99 Norris so I was happy
I've bought about $500 worth and could easily resell the numbered & patches & gold foil etc and make it all back . Love his vids but you don't have to buy a $300 box to have fun collecting .
I guess it’s not saying much but this still blows series 1 21/22 out of the water. I suppose I got lucky with my two boxes I opened on my channel but I really enjoyed opening it. Opening wax is always a risk
I just ordered 3 from Target in the states for 24.99-and after watching this video-that will be all.
Bought a case. 3 patch cards. My numbered cards were all the same guys on different levels. 5 of one guy all numbered.
Best part was it completed the set of rookies x2.

I ALMOST ordered some of these from Target, but Zeeree hadn't opened any yet so I got 3 mega boxes of 21-22 series 2 flagship instead. Seems like I made the right choice. One of my "rookie die-cut" packs had BOTH red AND gold Seidor. I got some pretty good YGs too -Mercer, Lundell, Newhook, Podkolzin, & Sillinger. Not the Redwing dudes, but no stinkers either. Thanks for doing these videos. You save us a lot of $.
I pulled a Lafreniere jersey and Vanecek red from my one box. Figured I more than beat the odds with that and do not plan to buy anymore lol.

Anything numbered beyond 999 in my opinion is too much!
i pulled a Purple variant of the Ty Dellandrea out of a blaster but got butt all afterwards. Pretty sad product considering a few years ago it was half decent
At least the serial numbered cards are stamped on. I have a cale makar serial numbered card that i pulled from this that was a sticker serial number.
This is/was a cool product. I have always called it SPA light. Yup the tiniest piece on the jersey on the cards. With the number of parallels is high, I was hopp they were putting 3 or more per blaster but no.
Fron what I read Artifacts is supposed to have 3 numbered cards per blaster but who knows now.
I wish they really numbered all parallels but that is never going to happen.

All of the manufacturers have issues, but Panini does such a better job with their retail products. Look at Mosaic Football from this year for example.
I am new to the Hobby but I don't think there should be any difference between Hobby and Retail Packs, as someone who isn't able to pick up Hobby boxes or packs very often its not as fun for me but I do still love opening packs.

I always laugh when I see people complain about cards #'d to 3000 or so. When I started collecting (shifts back in my rocking chair), I'd pull a 95-96 Donruss Dominators insert and be stoked it was #/5000!

Had a bunch at Target, new it would be hot garbage but I couldn’t resist buying one. Pulled Sorokin, Stutzle, and Norris but still didn’t pay for the blaster.

Not gonna lie, this blaster is way better than Metal which was my go-to blaster at my LCS.

Maybe UD is tired of the secondary market dictating the value. You bums buying into breaks and trying to sell your hits for 300% is the reason the prices went up. Keep weeding out the “investors” and the hobby will go back to the collectors.

@@jaden_16 I think it’s great value when you can pull a 1 of 1 McDavid,Matthews or Crosby auto and a bunch of great rookie autos like Laf,Robertson,Stutzle,Cozens,KK and Josh Norris out of a $25 blaster or a $15 hanger
