I'm so happy that Justin finally reacted to a proper Tamil song . Usually the songs he reacted to are full of energy and drums beats . This one though the lyrics are funny 😅 ( for those who speak Tamil know what I mean ..) , the song is really good.

I have no idea how the hell Arijit did that. It's like, he can be a baritone and tenor whenever he chooses. Just amazing.
@@yougood809 exactly. He has a great range, he easily sang lamhe in F#2 and E#2(during the humming). Then he also sings D#5 in agar tum saath ho and C#5 in channa mereya. Also High notes main vi awaaz patli nahi hoti.

I still like the original version which came 28 years back when the last stanza was sung all i can recall is Prabhu dancing near the Triumphant Labour Statue early morning and opp to Senate house. It was a and is a goose bump moment back then and now.

The original tamil version was a phenomenal master piece, i remember dancing on the screens of kamala theater in chennai, golden era of tamil music, both ARR and Ilayaraja were huge.

cool that you mentioned the melodic responses! to my knowledge a lot of traditional indian music is based on call and response where a lead singer will sing a line and the rest of the group/audience will sing it back. even in modern indian music you will see verses often have each line repeated twice
