Super cool man. Was it hard to source a rwd F10 diesel transmission? Here in Canada, all of them are X drive. Can't wait for part 2. 🤘
It's not too hard, they are available in the states, but you can always order from europe, they are around $2,000 shipped.

Hey Brad, you mentioned a plug in for the transmission P lock connector. Where would I buy that plug in adapter that you mentioned instead of having to cut the wiring?

was the plan for this swap to use the CanTCU? i thought you were offering factory repinned ZF8 TCU's as part of your kit. does the e70 zf-8 swap require the same modifications for the starter?
Yes, cantcu is needed for the swap. The transmission needs to be a diesel 8 speed as the gen 1 8hp is not supported.

Well it's around $3000 for the kit, $2000 for a transmission, and $2500 in labor.

Yes, It would be pretty simple to do, just need an xdrive body as the floor pan is different
