Your a inspiration. I’m a disable combat veteran I’m 32. And when I first started watching your videos I had a lot of issues with ptsd and other stuff. I find my peace in cutting hair I’ve been cutting my kids hair for the past 13 years. I never found it fun just a way to save money . After watching your videos. I love it I see it as ptsd treatment. It calms me down and takes me to a place where I’m normal without panic attacks. Flash backs , anxiety , no anger outburst. No cry spells ,,, just a relaxing fun place. I volunteer with Red Cross now cutting other disable veterans hair for free as well as homeless shelters . I don’t have the money for good clippers but get by with the Walmart 20dll clippers. I finally got the hand somewhat of the comb over clipper. Which I enjoy so longer hair and lots of bulk on the sides. I won’t say I’m good but I can say I’m a decent armature barber thanks to you. Hopefully one day I’ll get in your level and learn more to were I can perfect the hair cut like you do. Thank you so much. Probably doesn’t seem like much to others but. You are a savior. I’ve lost a lot of soldiers due to suicide cause of ptsd. And depression. I have my past attempt coming from deployments. But cutting hair is what saves me. And keeps me at peace thank u so much. I would like to go see u cut hair in your shop one day maybe learn more face to face. Thank you so much again.

That is one well trained head of hair.The hardest part of waves is getting your brush pattern down.The rest is just putting in the time and work.Just buy your 3 brushes ( Soft, Medium& Hard) and your products.Shower brushing is your best friend and your mirror angles.

Before I watched this video I had my 30 minute brush session my g I do it every day twice a day. Now one thing you forgot to mention is what type of brush we should use eg, medium hard, hard or soft brush. I use a medium hard brush but for my long wolfing sessions when it’s been like 3 or 4 months I use a extra hard brush and yes of course I use Torino Pro brushes
That’s exactly how I brush my hair still working on my crown cause it’s a lil weak right now but I’m working on it I can see a lil swirl developing tho
I caught up my crown..without scalping my hair now im catching up my right side without going bald..but thanks to your methods and everyday brush session..its coming together..no shifting

I said that on Facebook today lol. That back slant is real 540 ish. But the top is mostly straight so I see where he gets hybrid from. My hair actually is coming in like his is and since I wasn't slanting the back while brushing, I have forks in a line going down the back.
What about people like me with the muscle heads? You know with the rolled up carpet at the back of my skull. I want to make sure I don't have waves crashing into rocks. lol.. seriously though... how do I approach that 360?
6:31 Everyone's head shape is different some wavers have to brush their sides straight forward. Wavers with Oval Shaped Heads like(You, Rashad, PhindWaves, and Wave Man Mike) brush the sides at a diagonal angle.
For those who didn’t really get it I think of it like your waves are swirling out of your crown so what you would need to do is and this is for people who already had waves before (regular 360 waves) everything you learned about regular waves do it slanted

You use oils once your waves are locked in.
