The reason that hardlight can't is because there is actually a very small time window during the jutsu where your vulnerable. Getting hit during that window will stun you out of it. Knowing that should help you a bit to use hardlight more strategically. You should definitely do a video ranking all the ninjutsus!
No that has nothing to do with it, its about the sublocks, bc no matter how somebody hit me with light attacks of any atk weapon it works, no matter at what point i activate hard light when getting sublocked, it wont let me with all the atk weapons, so it has NOT to do with any window of vulnerability but with the sublock mechanic. Its not like i would only test something once i went out and did different timings on multiple combostrings of multiple atk weapons, it has nothing to do with that, it just isnt possible on sublock combos, if what you said was the case, you could just activate it after the hit, but you cant do it all no matter the timing when itsb on an atk types heavy
Defense is the best build for fighting this specific weapon user... Their infinite revolves around their power atk (triangle=PS y=Xbox) So the rush atk is going to work instead press your triangle button as you power atk is much stronger .. and always be vigilant of what jutsu they're using.
Yh the heavy attack of a defense or range type works wonders against those asuma knuckle knife users👍 just dont trade into them with your charge attacks and you are fine basically. As long as you keep that in mind u can just win the fight as normal. Just use kunai or something or some superarmored attack to come through it or make them slip by dodging and blocking them, or just straight away punish them with a setup move like silent strangle or something. There are really many ways. People complain too much bc its frustrating to get caught with infinites, but in reality nearly every atk weapon can do infinite sublock combos and the only thing that asuma knuckles do is: you get punished harder for mistakes and cant trade into them with most of your melee attacks, people think they can play the same against every weapon, but that is THEIR mistake not the weapons mistake right?😄

Instead of getting frustrated (because I've been playing the game since it came out and take pride in this game) I figured why not use some IQ and find ways to destroy the asuma knuckles. The only class I couldn't find a counter against them for was the heal class. Any tips for the heal class to fight asuma knuckles?
Counter for me is a very specific word, the only things i see as direct "counters" are the 2 jutsus in the video, but as I said as long as you dont run into their melee attack you are fine, the best counter is ro have better basics and keep that 1 rule in mind. U cant trade into their attacka, but you can block or dodge them and then punish them, also everything that you can use on them when THEY charge in, like kunai, explosive kunai, glimmering flames, seal tags... even piercing note to a degree. And also all the superarmored moves, like chakra scalpel, heavy boulder, nercous system rupture that allow you to trade into their melee attacka with ease. So yh basically having 2 superarmored gap closers 1 for their sub and then 1 to get a combo in is really one of the easiest ways to fight them. Like go in with chakra scalpel when they get close and then use heavy boulder, do a combo, reset combo counter using glimmeeing flames, do a full combo again on the lowered defense, boom they're gone, just like that😄. Even a move like flower cannon that gives you superarmor only dueing the cast can be used upclose to tank their first attack with the superarmored animation and then dash around them and hit them from behind. Actually my teammate Basimus made a video where he showed exactly that tech with flower cannon, so u might wanna check that out maybe. There are really countless ways for any class to beat them, but in the end it all comes down to: fast superarmored moves, everything that is quick and hits in a straight line or just playing better under the premies of not trading into their melee attacks with your own

Your best friend against it honestly is to have good basics, just dont trade into their melee attacks with your own melee attacks and you are fine then you just have to win the fight like you would have to against any opponent, the truth is you only get punished harder for mistakes, but if you would beat them, the weapon will not make them beat you
Staying away from the ground indeed is a way to make it harder for them, but that counts for any combos in general and a good player will manage to get you to the ground eventually, so just work on your basics, your movement, blocking, how to set up a fight and build up enough knowledge to know how to respond to the actions an opponent can make. But yh the jutsus showcased in the video give you the opportunity to be safe from that anyways
If you're prepared, attack has one counter to AKK and its my main attack build. Sharingan and imperial wrath are the Jutsus, cooling breeze is my ninja tool, timespace hop is my sub (gives immunity to attacks when used with Sharingan as well). So you Sharingan out of the first attack when you see your opponent rush at you, sub and wait for the timing of your opponent's attack, then imperial wrath, Combo, slash with second input of imperial wrath, combo again, cooling breeze to reset the combo (and take your opponent out of Sharingan if they're running it as well, little-known perk of cooling breeze), combo yet again and the should be dead/one tap

Wow I am shocked only two counters 😮 Also I don’t think hardlight works against any unsubable moves. I may be wrong though.
I didn't specifically test it against every Jutsu, but it's kinda weird that HHP and body blow work on the sublock combos but hard light and flying raijin lvl1 dont. I wonder if that is intentional or just something the devs are not aware of🤔

Well... if you land in comvos the whole time that doesnt mean you cant get better it just mens thw thibgs you should focus on rn is learning how to not get caught all the time. Learn to block and dodge and move. Record the match and look at it, when did you get caught? Why? What could you have done instead? Maybe there is a lot you can learn from the guys besting you. Just wanting to win, without trynna figure out how won't help nobody.

I can tell you now bodyblow has a decently high fail rate vs knuckles and claws if you don’t time it right.
Uhm any moves can be interrupted if you get hit during a certain moment even ultimates, you probably noticed that already. As you said it has to do with timing, activate it right after the hit and you are gonna be fine, that counts for all of these kinda moves, if you activate it and it got cancelled, look at the timing closely in the replay and then you see what the wrong timing is and can avoid it
Basically: its not gonna be consistent and will always work if you dont have wrong timing
@@SenseiiBoba Of course I know how to tell active frames. I was just saying for anyone who comes and sees this, and think it’s a one stop shop. Oboro will just shut it down as well. You just need to never let it happen and spam heavies on a good weapon on top of all these things, that’s why I’m waiting for a kusanagi to complete my build. Defense also has one of the most OP builds with tsukino what’s its name,kamui, running and heavies. Defense is one of the cheesiest with how well they can run.
@@imeaniguess.6963 yh I know I appreciate it, just wanted to put it into context and also tell them WHY that is and how they can fix that for themselves. Yh they can block your jutsus with obo, but flame lightning also counters sand shield although the water shark can get rid of your jutsus. But yh you are right obo can shut it down, but it requires insane timing on their part to cause a situation where they hit the shuriken before you knock them away, you cant do it reactively, you have to call the shuriken already before charging in and have to hit the right timing, if you dont connect with the charge attack (l2 dashes or running into a jutsu or tool, or just missing) or mess up the timing or anything, you will just waste your obo. So yh it does, but its a bit tricky. At least these jutsus give some layer of security when it comes to getting infinite comboed😄

There are counters but it literally kills one of the attractions the game have to me and that's ninjutsu variety. @@creativebeatdown just dont trade into their close range attacks with your own, just use a kunai or superarmored move or range attack or a ninja tool or dodge them block their attacks and basically just win the fight normally. The truth is somevody that wouldnt beat you, wont be able to beat bc of the knuckle knives or claws or whatever bullshit. You just get punished harder for mistakes with that kinda stuff. But I feelnyou with that point, I also am bored of plqying against the same bullshit over and over again, i like variety in gameplay and i usually dont wanna run stuff only bc people keep playing stuff i need to counter. But on the other hand allt he coubters amd stuff are surface level knowledge, there are always generic ways to play around stuff, you cqn literally run any type of build if you really play it right. Thats what I wanna show with some of these videos. For example I have an earth style one shot build on this channel that is completely broken amd can do some nasty things, its just a themed build i wanted to run bc its cool, i was like hey let me use earth style😄, but really understanding every aspect of the build and of combat allows you to dominate with everything, i have literally shown in a video "the biggest challenge ever" that without jutsus, ninjatools, ults or any ss weapons, just with the basic weapons alone you canbabsolutely dominate the survival matches online if you got the basics right. I wanna invite you to check one of these videos out in the hope that maybe it sparks your passion for the game again😊
@SenseiiBoba I really just don't think I'm part of the target audience. I figure they don't have true 1v1s for a reason and it's because game isnr built for that. There's minimum variety in pvp. It's main audience is cringey clans. Everything I do on this game has not been enjoyable win or lose. If you literally have to equip something to make it a bit more fair then balance is busted with the exception of secret techniques. Unblockables shouldn't also be undodgable. If you can't dodge it you should be able to dodge it. The game needs a universal chase mechanic so that you can actually catch somebody and not have to resort to third partying. I'm not new to game and I agree that players should learn and adapt before complaining but this isn't even adapting at this point its just coping with the biggest flaw this game has. Half of the fan base literally tries to play in ways the game or game modes wasn't intended for.
As i explained you dont need to run specific stuff, i have proven that by going into the pits with all role types basic weapons and won their several times without ninjatools, jutsus or ults at all only using movement and combos. If u think you have to run specific things, its bc you're trying to close the skillgap with builds, bc you just don't know how to close it by learning. I personally have a lot of fun playing just builds i think are cool, cosplay builds, themed builds, just things i wanna play around with sometimes. You can win with every build if you just know how to play it right and just have your basics good. And everybody has trouble catching up to people until they A: learn the propermovement B: learn how to circle in or create an angle and also like cancel their charge attacks and utilizing different aspects of movement. If you cant catch somebody it is bc of his movement being better than yours 9/10

Yh basically. It's what i say all the time, good basics (block, dodge and set up attacks) is all you need in this game, you can beat anything.
But this vid was more to help people that arent as good at that yet, to have like a 2nd chance to try and turn the fight, basically to have more tries and therefore practice twice as fast to play against these kinda weapons. But yh I totally know what u mean😄🤜🤛

I'm new to the game, all these stunlock weapons take no skill and ppl really bag you when they "outplay" you when your just trying to use a different fun build, so obnoxious. This shit takes absolutely 0 skill to just spam the same 2 buttons. As a noob, putting this on feels like cheating. My kd immediately went up using this crap. The boxing gloves are annoying af too, they all the same spammy no skill b.s.
Thats not even chakra claws lol. Chakra claws cant even sublock like that, not anymore at least, they'd need some extenders

And then what i said is chakra claws dont sub lock you LIKE THAT or at least not anymore, bc they reduced the hitstun on it so now you cant just loop the heavy of the chakra claws, you would need certain extenders for that now. And I only said the weapon used in the video is not the chakra claws, its asuma knuckle knives. And for your info except like 1 or 2 ALL attack weapons have infinite sublock combos, even the basic hand to hand. And next to no combo in the game takes any skill at all, just bc they are so god damn simple. Theres just a few that you would need to practice a little bit maybe, but thats more practice than skill. What really takes skill is creating the openings to get these combos in, most of it comes down to your basics. Dodging, blocking awareness, anticipation, teamwork etc. Matter of fact I have a whole video playing without jutsus or tools with any class and just the stanard weapons you have from the start

You sounded pretty pissed off by sublock combos tho, which i get its a frustrating experience to get caught in one, but its basically the attack types role specific trait, i personally find sublock heavies less annoying than supersrmored heavies with big aoe's that can be looped, or instant guardbreaks, bc block is actually one of your best tools and a ressource on higher levels, or the constant interruption of range heavies and how they keep you at a distance.
But yh as I said u are probably gonna see that differently. Anyways, I hope this video helped you a bit at least and also malos video if you checked it out
