I work for a cleaning service and when we do flood jobs where stuff is ruined like carpet, padding, furniture, drywall, we have to take it to a landfill 30 minutes away now. I used to work at a place called Macintosh pallets here in N.Y. we would repair them an the ones we could we would the good boards off an reuse them an the ones we couldn't went to the shredder

better stacking could have fit more i used to load my truck with 6ft bed and stack them so as to take every inch of available space my buddy cuts them up and burns them in his shop stove i stack normal then fill in around them standing them on edge you actually fit more standing them on edge then stack flat on top understanding he still has to be able to dump it
Hopefully That's going to be a repeat customers Them car parts pile up fast and always needing removed. Once a month maybe 2 times a month it could turn out to be a honey hole for ya possibly. The places around me have the scrap guys pick up all the metal for free and they keep what they make from the scrap yard ,but the plastic just piles up at the shop. It would be a good gig in my opinion and could turn into a scrap pick up maybe as well. 🇺🇲🦅⚖️

Awesome video! I feel your pain I’ve been in your same shoes, I used to go to DeKalb landfill and wait 1 hour to 2 hours when they were $33 a ton. To wait that long and having more jobs on their schedule is annoying. now you need to live in DeKalb to dump, but they are pro rated 1,300 pounds there is $61. Still DeKalb is $95 a ton if you live there. Marietta is my only landfill now $70 a ton but the wait time is faster, some days the line starts at the road, just stay in the left lane scale and you’ll go faster, you have a dump trailer, no need to wait for cars that are going to unload by hand to move out the way on the right lane scale.

@Realcustomz0 They definitely are good trailers, but that could happen to any brand running the scissor lifts. That's why I prefer a telescopic lift cylinder they will lift without hesitation!

Hey brotha! Yes, that is a Ram 2500 diesel. I would recommend you save up for a bigger truck before you get a dump trailer they are too heavy to be hauled around daily by a Ram 1500 truck.

@tp8030 What state are you in? MAXXD looks like a nice trailer, but they cost a nice dollar as well. All my dump trailers are made by Top Shelf Trailers in Yulle, Florida. They got some heavy-duty dump trailers at an affordable price. Plus, if you tell them I sent you their way, they will give you a discount on top!
@ttgk8506 I got mine 16ft built up to 3ft walls for my mini skidsteer. It struggles lifting over 4ft walls unfortunately. Otherwise, I would have stuck to 4ft walls. What brand is your trailer sir?
You should carry a nice Milwaukee circular saw and sawzaw. I, thinkn you could have cut the bumpers in half to fit them better !

In Europe we have a deposit system for standard pallets. $5 each for quality pallets gives quite an incentive to return them.

Here in NE Texas pallet companies will buy used pallets. If even a buck a piece it's better than paying landfill fee to get rid of them.
