It is so nice that no matter how many builds i've seen since valheim came out, theres always something new in each and every build..
Can't wait to try out some of the ideas i saw in this vid and give them a twist to make it my own..

Beatiful! It would be neat if they could add an item which could make your wood more durable against weather/ocean - if not completely (!). Having to repair all the time is indeed realistic and I like that idea, but it would still be a nice option for those who build with more wood :)

Some very tidy builds, great creativity on display.
Love seeing all the wood outside, then realising none of it will last past the second rain storm.
Rain doesn’t destroy structures, it just decays it to 50% :)
I just built a humongous bridge going to an Island with a beautiful ocean view. These are beautiful!
I built a bridge to link two islands. And then I found out I had just blocked the equivalent of the Panama canal with it, after spending a week on it :/

I really wish they would change weathering affects in the game. would be really fun to not have to repair stuff consistently when building wood bridges and docs

Is there a way to turn weather effects/damage off ingame? All my builds decay
Is that a special mod for building? Because I don't see any time some wood or stone farming to build all these wonderful houses.

can anyone tell me how the lag in this game is ? like in minecraft it gets very laggy quite easily when placing lots of decoration and block entities, does this work differently or will it get laggy just as fast?

Critique: The first segment build was pretty horrible if one would consider that a single rain could fuck that shit up... and make everything look like 3 weeks old soggy bread.
it could, but there are mods to stop wood from getting rain damage, or the builders don't mind and see it as giving it more character, or maybe they go repair everything after rain. Or maybe they set the weather to be sunny all the time on the world they're building. I can understand YOU don't want to deal with rain damage though, that's fine, you build however you want just like these people.
I agree rain damage, troll attacks, etc. But you have to admit the creativity is pretty great
