CONSTABLE DEPUTY AMBUSHED AND SHOT!

Precinct 4 Constables were dispatched to robbery calls at two different Academy stores. A suspect entered the stores with an AR 15 rifle and robbed them. A Deputy Constable spotted the suspect vehicle and a police pursuit began when the suspect failed to stop.
The suspect vehicle was stopped in the 5300 bulk of Slashwood, when the suspect shot a Deputy Constable and fled into a house.
Constables surrounded the house and a short time later the suspect was taken into custody. The Deputy Constable was transported to a local hospital. Investigation underway avoid the area!
