I know this wasn't version wasn't made from a Christian perspective but as a Christian I kind of love the vibe. Punk rock Hark the Herald Angels sing or gospel in general is just a lovely idea.
I'm an atheist and I still love some Christian music. I mean, Amazing Grace is simply a great song, no matter your beliefs. I don't see any reason why we all can't just enjoy what we enjoy.

I like that it's done without sarcasm, and the song selection is the good stuff. The only corpo-Christmas song on the album(White Christmas) is one of the better ones, too.
Originally Xmas = Yule is an ancient Pagan fest, not christian! Just like many other things that christians have "stolen" from us, pagans!

I ’m not taking pictures with my kids in the nativity scene, as that’s for singing silent night at church on Xmas eve. If all you see is cocoa cola it’s because you’re blind to your own heritage. Pride is the greatest of the 7 deadly sins & some people use the lords name in vain as a vail of piety while being the first to cast stones. Anyone who’s offended by gift giving & Santa is a loser and thus a bad representative for Christ. “Blessed are the poor in spirit” I’ll pray for you!

Listening to BR endlessly at insane volumes in 1983 is probably what got me sent to military boarding school for my four high school years, but no regrets. Luckily, now instead of spending my whole allowance on BR vinyl, I spend an insignificant portion of a paycheck. Happy Holidays!

Bad Religion and Christmas songs have always gone hand in hand ever since KROQ's (Almost) Acoustic Christmas '93. They opened with "Silent Night" and the following year, they also did "Leon" (their rendition of "The First Noel") and "Joy to the World."

First time I ever heard this version of this Christmas song was in the comic book store by the job. No joke.
God uses the most unlikely instruments to carry out His work of salvation. I've always loved Bad Religion for their music, especially the lyrics. But this album stroke me in a completely new way. When I first heard it, I felt I was facing something really big and true. This experience made me open my heart to the power and grace of God in my life. Today I can see that my life has a meaning. There's a reason for me to wake up every day, and this reason is Christ. Thank you, Bad Religion, for this gift. May it help lead many other souls to God, especially the band members. I will remember to pray for you always. May God bless you 🙏
Love a bit of Bad Religion but had my doubts about a Christmas Album.... I never should have doubted fecking awesome!
Bad Religion makes me actually enjoy X-Mas music for once. This album will also be the first time I'll have ever voluntarily listened to X-Mas music (meaning that I myself popped the CD in and hit "play", or whatever).
Not saying that X-Mas music sucks... just that it gets REALLY stale after the first ten repeats of the same five-or-so songs (that are played every year, might I add).
