The Adventures of Stevie V was a British dance music act, who in the late 1980s & early 1990s scored several hits on the UK Singles Chart, and the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. Assembled by producer Stevie Vincent, the group also included singers Melody Washington and Mick Walsh. Their most successful single was "Dirty Cash (Money Talks)", a #1 dance chart hit that crossed over to pop radio and hit #2 on the UK Singles Chart, as well as peaking at #25 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990. Follow-up single "Jealousy," hit #2 on the US dance chart in early 1991, and climbed to #95 on the Hot 100.

Yup! That's that 1990 shit! When i first heard "Dirty Cash" back then, i was under the impression that the subject is based on prostitution. Mind you, i was only 10 years old at the time. And i still think that listening to this song now. Interestingly enough, when 95.5 FM did the WPLJ Reunion Day special on Thu May 30, A.J. Hammer said that Adventures of Stevie V's "Dirty Cash" was the first song he played when he joined WPLJ as an On-Air Radio DJ back in 1990. Crazy right (rhetorical question)? #LoveIt :)
