As a saints fan I can honestly say this man Matt was different. I felt like he was the biggest threat out of all QB’s in that division outside of Brees. This man had a hell of a career. Props to him

I'm glad Cam Newton continues to be a sports personality - he is brilliant. Matt Ryan got done dirty by Atlanta coaches. He typically had 4000+ yards passing but only 27 TDs, so they used him between the 20s to move the chains but went to their run game in the Red Zone. Imagine how many TDs the guy would have had if it was a different coaching group and we are discussing potential HOF.
Very under appreciated. Didn’t really get the help defensive side or running back to take the pressure off of him. Had to do a lot! I’m surprised he stay healthy majority of his career

As a fellow ATLien; Atlanta aren't the one's not giving Matty his flowers, it's the media. I dare you to go to any of the malls, or downtown, and avoid seeing a Matt Ryan jersey at least 10 times. You won't because it's not possible, all of Georgia loves Matty Ice.
The problem is the fact during any debate or any mention of the Falcons in the media, or online, the only thing you'll see is 28-3. It's hard to defend against that as a Falcon fan. We're literally an immortal NFL meme that won't go away, even if the franchise win it's first super bowl. Unfortunately, Matt was the QB that didn't put his foot down when Kyle Shanahan kept drawing up passing plays.
As a Saint fan I feared Matt more in his prime years than Newton , so it’s cool to watch this interview

Tell me who In their right mind is throwing the ball on 1st and 2nd and then running it on third when up by 25. And the field goal that would have won us the game got put on hold cause of a holding penalty that pushed us out of field goal range.

Even if it was the play calling, QBs can audible when they think they can make something else happen based on what look the defense is giving you. This was the interview I never knew I needed. As a lifelong Falcons fan, Matty Ice is the greatest thing that has happened to the ATL (consistency and longevity, Vick fans). Devonte should have never missed the block and even if Matt threw an incomplete, we could have punted and still won the game. Shanahan got cocky.

Falcons went back to the playoff with a rookie Matt Ryan, and he stayed consistent for 10 years. Our franchise could have gone tragically left after the Michael Vick situation, but it didn't. Thank you, Matt., If it wasn't for Tom Brady, Falcons would have won their first super bowl with an MVP Matt Ryan.

What frustrates me about a lot of Falcon fans is how much they LOVE Vick and then discredit Ryan. Vick was a sensational player, entertaining, but while he was in Atlanta he didn't give it his all. He may have been better than Ryan, but he wasted his potential by just being happy with using only his God given talent and not trying to improve. Ryan gave ATL his all, broke all time Falcon records, multiple winning seasons, and MVP season, 2 NFC championship games and 1 Super Bowl appearance and so many fans raise Vick on a pedestal while shitting on Matt Ryan. I don't get it.
