- Just a quick overview of the Video and the PEX installation.
First you can get everything discussed in the Video at SupplyHouse.com. No, I don’t work for them or have a financial stake in the company. They are very well stocked and in most cases I have my order in 2 days.
PEX is not designed for compressed or vacuum air delivery just like PVC plumping and many other items discussed on CZcams, however, it is good for up to 160psi and lends itself to installation where limited access makes it difficult to run hardline or PVC. I have shop air running on 1” and ¾” to manifolds. The only downside to using plastic is moisture, there are many ways to mitigate this inconvenience but far less expensive than professional grade compressed air distribution systems. I have not had any problems running PEX or ALPEX.

Why would anyone give this a thumbs down? It’s a good video.
because most of the action takes place outside of the camera view
i did like the content though
Well done!
Very informative! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the video..what type of compressor are you running?
5HP Single Stage 135PSI.
Sooo which fitting/adapter is used to connect the air compressor quick connect?
That link is not provided, nor is it mentioned?
Looks like a shower drop ear.
lol could've made your block shorter so your not fastening into the horizontal bed but I like the idea of using the pex line for the compressor
Excellent!
Many thanks!
Hi Bud, did you use pex A or pex B . Thanks mate ☺️👍
Believe it is B, don't have much A in this area.
Nice job, thanks.
What is the brass fitting with 3 ports called that holds your quick connect? Where did you get it?
It’s a drop ear tee. Used commonly for showers heads.
@@michaelbarrons8254 I used 3/4 pex x 3/4 pex x 1/2 NTPdrop ear t then bush down to the size for the air fitting 1/2 to 1/4 bushing

From my understanding pex pipe is not safe for compressed air nor is it recommended. Is there a different type that you are using?
Well I've had 1/2" pex in my home garage/shop for over 5+ yrs now.! It run after my 2 air filters up the wall thru my attic in a huge loop the whole length of my garage and than back down to multiple drops for multiple tools, shop press, air blasting cabinet, plasma cutter, and workbench/welding table. And I have Zero problems. My 80 gallon air compressor has a 145psi setting. Pex works fine..........!
Bro… PEX is literally rated for like 500psi. But there are numerous videos on CZcams that test that and they’ve proven pex to hold an insane amount of pressure. Like 1800psi.
Looks nice. But if it gets yanked very hard, those screws are going to pull right out of that particle board. Should have used plywood or used T-Nuts and machine screws. Plus, any condensation on the wall will also render the particle board useless in a few years.
Very Good!... 17🐄🦉🏴☠✝
Second, third and forth holes you hit a void.
Conrete Block...Cinder Block Might Be An Issue.
When you drain, it’s gonna blow all your stuff off the table.
