Is there hospital inside inside campus?
Yes, it is, but it might be late. Better if you make it before joining campus.

@aksh3013 y take a chance? Get it done in ur hm Town which will not tk more than 10 mnts as u already have one, taken during ur counseling session. Go to the same doctor and show the previous certificate n they will gt it done for u

@@harsh-2262 Oks, then after coming to campus you can contact SAM hall or some guest houses. If it's not available then you can book outside hotels like Swagat hotel etc.

Didi mera offer letter aa chuka hai, but ERP pe sign up process kya last year ke guidelines follow karke kar sakte hai ya institute ka mail ane tak wait karu? I am going to join Joint Msc PhD course through JAM exam.

Hall is open every time for us or any specific time to join, if we reach early morning at that time
Procedure will start only when office will open(10am usually). However you can see hall till that time.

I have to reach iit kgp on 18 july 2024. Hall is allocated before or will be alloted after doing registration? I have to come from BHU, Varanasi. Please reply, were will i get information about the which hall is allocated to me. In ERP it says no hall allocated.
If no hall is allocated before reaching here, then you have to go to HMC (Hall management centre). It is inside campus itself. There you will be get your allotted hall name.

It's in between 40-45k, it varies semesterwise. It includes everything like mess, hall, semester registration etc.

Di college if one dont know how to drive cycle than what other option are available.
You can use the bus facility provided to students using the institute ID for free, or you can take a toto or rickshaw. (Toto= tuk-tuk= auto rickshaw charges 50 rupees to go anywhere inside the campus, doesn't matter the distance, but additional charges for room shifting). Also, during off timings, you can just walk, it's not too far once you know all the routes.

Fees can be paid from any bank account.
Yes, you can do it later. There is a SBI bank inside campus itself. It was opened for iitkgp students. Even I made it here itself.

It won't take long. Just you'll get you roomie and your room number.

Yes please
It's actually a guest house. Vishweshwar Guest house. It's allotted for this time and after maybe 1-2 sem, you will be allotted another hall.

Actually, it is a flat. So, according to the room size you will be allotted a single or multi-sharing room. It will be multi-sharing most probably.

No, it's not allowed. You can request or book nearby hotel or guest house.
