Hey Matt, I just want to express my sincere appreciation for these playthroughs. Starting this channel was one of the absolute best decisions you've taken.
I don't think "realistic driving physics" is the appropriate take. I think the vehicles just have more weight and require more effort to control which I don't mind. But I agree that the bikes are way to hard to control haha.
As with many other things in IV, bike physics break above a certain fps and get even worse the higher the fps is. That said bikes are a pain even at the "intended" 30fps. Too high fps is also what causes the stupidly zoomed in cutscenes, NPC walking/pathfinding issues and some other things..
Just an idea Matto but maybe if you actually got used to the driving instead of using a taxi at every fucking opportunity it wouldn't be so bad when you actually need to drive for missions?
I know this is an old recording but a fun fact is you actually don't have to save the game to heal when you go to the bed. When you just press escape it does the same thing and forwards time by 6 hours in-game.
At least they gave Niko multiple dialogues so when they cheese you into a failure, at least you won’t hear him say the same cheesy lines. lol. Enjoyed the series DarkViper. Loved this game when it came out.

Hey matt i think the reason you struggled so much with the driving in this game is because you have no throttle or brake control with a keyboard since you’re just pressing a button (at least i would imagine so, im a console player so idrk about pc controls) instead of pulling a trigger. Next time around I advise you to use a controller to drive every vehicle not just helicopters.
a lot of the internet stuff in the game is great, it's a shame most people don't explore a lot of it and just do the bare minimum to get through the game
If matt does another playthrough of this he needs to play on the 360 version with a controller. The pc is horribly optimized and keyboard sucks with how gta 4 works.
