Originally Zoolander was gonna be the first Live action adaptation of JoJo Part 2 Battle Tendency. The script was half way done when both Araki and the Movie studio figured that not only was it not a good idea to release a adaptation of a series no one in the west was familiar with, but also it was to different from the source material to even be considered part of the same series. So they changed the script up a bit removing anything jojo related and released it as zoolander
