Our first time camping in Algonquin Park | Lake of two Rivers
This was our first time camping in Algonquin Park. After comparing different campgrounds we chose The Lake of Two Rivers.
Our trip from Toronto took us approximately 3 hours. Once we reached the park, we registered and got some firewood. Our spot was really nice and quite big as well. It was conveniently located close to the bathrooms and showers.
On our first evening, we went to the lake which was only 5 minutes away from our camp spot. We decided to rent a canoe the next day to explore the beautiful area and the island that was located not that far from the shore.
The only problem was the weather that was changing every 30 minutes and was switching from sunshine to heavy rain and back!
We spent 2 days there and were really happy with our first experience of camping in Algonquin Park! Definitely would recommend it to everyone!

I have been going there for 44 years. Great memories as a child.
