I would love to see it with some waves or curls if you'd be interested in doing that. But honestly, I want to see any styles under you come up with.

I'm still super happy with my LE doll because I love her braid, the crystals, and how her dress is closer to the movie version! But I'm happy they have a play line version now for those who didn't or couldn't get the LE version! ❤

Yay, thank you Kris for your video! I ordered her early this morning. I’m not near a store so I always just cross my fingers.☺ And it was great to see the differences between the play-line and the AG Disney Collector version.
Not regretting my Frozen purchase as I feel like that's THE ONE franchise I need collectors of, but I think I would have felt differently with Rapunzel. I actually like the free hair to create a looser romantic braid. LE Rapunzel is gorgeous, but if I had her, I'd never touch the braid. I can see some really pretty Instagram pics coming from the new doll (and probably you). ☺

okay, i know that for some people that the play rapunzel being almost identical to the collector one is not a good thing, but for me personally, i took my rapunzel out of the box but she is far too valuable to me to actually bond with her, take her places, etc, and she’s my favorite doll in my collection. the play line doll being almost the same is actually really exciting for me, because i want to bond with a rapunzel doll, and if the quality in the play line doll was less or if she looked FAR different i might not even have wanted her. just my two cents

Thank you Kris! Great review and very honest. They are both beautiful. If I start collecting the Disney line I would definitely want Rapunzel. I love extra long hair on dolls. She is just so pretty. I like both versions. The collector one is stunning with her extra long thick braid adorned with crystals and flowers. I am shocked at the price difference between two so similar dolls. I am happy they brought out a play line version for the kiddos though. So much AG excitement lately!🥰

I honestly bought them fully expecting them to come out as playline (only LEs I would ever buy). My main motivating factor was that I’ll bet you anything they are going to be sold in a different set of outfits (Frozen 2?). I really desperately want the originals.
@@Kari-G I pretty sure of the same. I won't buy Anna only because she's not in the store and I'm concerned of getting one with eye defects knowing that they are not returnable. Otherwise I would have bought her.
@@zoej.7008 I know, but that's my story all the time as I don't live close to a store 😃 I heard AG tried their best with exchanges on defective dolls for the last release. Only just what I heard though.

I also prefer the no eyeshadow and though the crystals are dazzling, I love the dress AG gave to the play doll. It is actually more resembling the one in the cartoon. I prefer her hair length because I'm definitely playing with her. I hope you will give us ideas for hairstyles that we could do on her... pretty please 😉

Would really love to see a comparison with TM115. I bought her to make a mini me but got kind of attached to her as is. Rapunzel looks like the only customization she’d need is a wig and her eyes might be closer to mine. Didn’t even consider her before with the $300 price tag.

I ordered her about 10 minutes after I learned she exists! I learned from comments on another channel that you were on your way to the store to get her. I’m even more excited now! I was just thinking while looking at Anna and Elsa online that it would be great if we could order them with or without the overpriced crystals. But, I never thought it would happen!

I’m not familiar with the Marie Grace face mold. What are the known issues that you have noticed with that mold? I really want her but don’t wanna get a doll with defects. Like I’ve noticed with the new classic face mold one of the eye sockets are wonky and it’s really put me off to the classic mold when it was always my favorite.
I love the LE moreso. The dress is way more stunning imo. I love the hell out of Rapunzel, but im 👀🥴 like this about the playline version. If memory serves me correctly, this is the first time they did a playline version of a limited edition doll? It makes me feel like they're valuing the LE less. 😢
Do you find that her hair crimps really easily? I had a braid in her hair for like two or three days and when I took it out it was already slightly wavy looking! Is there anything I should be doing to prevent hairstyles from making her hair wavy?
In a future video could you show her next to Cinderella and Ariel? I would like to see how the hair, eyes, and skin tones compare. Thanks!

Hey there! I really enjoy your videos, but can we tweak the bass or move the microphone off the table? Every time you hit the table it is SO LOUD. Hahaha. Sorry to complain, I just noticed it a lot more today with having a headache.
I didn't hear it all all. I'll watch his video again. EDIT: I just rewatched the entire video. It wasn't super loud for me at all. I didn't even pay attention to it. I am fine with it because it was filmed IRL and not heavily edited to eliminate background noises. He presented the doll after he got it and shared information that others might be interested in knowing. Thanks, Kris. I appreciate your video and look forward to any others you will put out in the future. ❤

In my opinion the biggest, most important difference between the LE & the play-line ? .Buyer’s didn’t have to pay extra money for “Swarovski Crystal”..I hope eventually they release “The frozen collection in the play line”, collectors & parents can possibly afford both dolls, instead of paying for “Swarovski Crystal”.
So tea/speculation: do we think they massed produced the doll then just sent 4000 to the left for one wig/outfit then the other >5K to the right for the play line lol?
