@@granulan617I don’t believe The Lord of Chaos is an eternal slave merely the tool to be used to reduce all things back to nothing and then in one final grand crescendo The Lord of Chaos and The Frenzied Flame as a whole burn themselves out until finally there is truly nothing remaining in the whole of existence no more torment or despair, no more affliction or suffering, no more fractures or births, no more gods no better than mortals, and no more Lords of Chaos or Flame of Frenzy because like Melina said it is Chaos devouring life and thought unending which by extension means at the eventual end of the melting away everything all that would be left to burn away would be The Flame of Frenzy itself

The only truly moral ending is inheriting the Frenzied Flame, suppressing it with Miquella's Needle, and using Goldmask's Mending Rune. The need for an Empyrean or demigod is the flaw in the order, as all beings are children of the Greater Will, regardless of their form. Every other ending represents a form of slavery.
Flame of frenzy seems like the inverse of the first flame. One establishes disparity the other spirals all into swirling chaos.
That is a really interesting observation 🤔🔍
The two fundamental laws.
The rivarly with Melina is what made me appreciate this ending
Across all of the Souls games they always hint that the status quo is something you should not continue into destroy something that should not continue is such a great option

No matter what the chaos ending is the most realistic and cannon ending Miyazaki would’ve picked or gone with if he wanted to make a sequel
I agree, I would love to see the world after it was engulfed by the flame of frenzy, from the small glimpse we get from the ending cutscene it looks hellishly beautiful.

@@b.theodore7054 yes and no, putting out the fire in the DS trilogy means something we never seen happen, while repeting the cicle allows for a sequel, so the "canon" is the one that allows for a sequel, until in DS3 that isn't basically anymore an option. In this sense putting out the flame would be the moon ending, while both repeating the cycle and frenzy flame can be a sequel, so both repeating the cycle with the elden lord, and the frenzy flame could be "canon" in sequel
Dude did not play the game choas is the only one where you cannot have a sequel too. All the others there is a possibility but with the chaos all life cease to exist by lore. No birth no new hero just Melina if she is alive and maybe a few others

I only just found this video but in the thumbnail the character has the exact same armour set on as I did when I got frenzied flame ending as my first completion
I see, that's really cool, the crucible knight armor set is one of the best looking armors in the game...
@@LowOnEstus definitely agree, it’s so good. The one difference I just remembered is that I wore Radahn’s gauntlets in order to honour him whilst I fought Melania😂
@@SpremeCalami I love that, he's my favorite boss, especially cuz of the lore, the fact that melania was no match for him and had to resort to a stalemate, I would have loved it if they added special dialogues for Melania so that she would react to u wearing those gauntlets, would have been really cool.

Flame of Frenzy was my first ever ending and this video is how i felt troughout whole gameplay.

YESS, he realized that the true purpose of his maiden was to be the kindling that would burn the Erdtree and he did not want that to happen. So he instead tried to do it himself using the frenzied flame. It was all for naught tho as his maiden still died at one point.
