Something in this song is that it hints things about Willow and sings about her, the lines “it’s my time, I’m gonna find the end of this road, no matter what anybody has told me” refers to that she doesn’t know if there’s a point in life knowing she lost her family and William, and is trying to find some kind of hope or purpose. The lines “I’m gonna be fine, everyone knows, there’s a silver lining in every cloud, but the storm that is rising, is dark and black” refers to that even if she doesn’t find a point in life, she thinks she will be okay, and that she regrets thinking that and her life is becoming dark and hopeless as she still hasn’t found William yet, and she’s becoming a worse and worse type of person. The lines “a mystery lies ahead of me, I don’t know what’s expected of me, but I’m sure gonna try” refers to the fact she doesn’t know what will happen to her in the future and she doesn’t know if she’s taking the right path to be a cold hearted criminal, and she’s trying to piece together the right path to take. The lines “sorrow lies in my wake, and I feel so alone, I hope this isn’t a mistake” refers to how her life is sad and dark, and she feels alone due to the loss of her parents and William, and hopes that the decision she took to help our group find the cure is not a mistake, or the wrong path. The lines “everybody thinks they know the answer, the answer to the story, everyone assumes the path they’ve taken, is the righteous one of two” refers to how everyone could think they are going the right path in life, or making the right choice, when they could not be, and everyone assumes they’re taking the right path, and the two paths are the dark and criminal path that Willow took, or the good path. The lines “either one you take is an adventure, a journey you’re beholden to” refers to how life is a adventure, and the bad path can give you the sad, adventure of losing hope, or the good path, which can give you the happy, fun adventure, and whatever path you choose, you stick to it until you don’t. The lines “a promise that, you cannot break, a truth you must hold on to” refers to how the path you take, you have to hold onto that path for years and years on, even if you try to drop it, you have to face it and embrace it. The lines “what is wrong? I must go on, I must go on, what if I’m wrong?” refers to how Willow doesn’t know the missing piece to her life that is making her feel sorrow and sad other than the loss of William, but she continues forward, slowly losing hope, and again and again asking herself if she’s wrong about her decisions. The lines “I gotta stay strong, I gotta stay strong, I can’t trust anyone, if I wanna live long enough, to see this through” refers to how no matter what you choose, if you’re wrong or right, you must be brave and move on, and doesn’t trust anyone because Willow thinks the entire world is against her to live long enough to see what lies ahead of her, in her future.

"Mystery lies ahead of me" refers to the back half of book 2, "I feel so alone" might be because characters like Doggy, Bunny, Zizzy, and Giraffy (who are all our friends) have bad things happen to them. "I don't know what's expected of me, but I'm sure gonna try" is about us pretty much leading the expedition to get the cure, and about us trying to solve the new maps Minitoon and IK3As have been throwing at us, especially ones like ship (it's difficulty with the bots, size, and Archie's hitbox), docks (Markus' special ability) and camp (the special things in the cave with the rope, code, and weak parts of the bridge). And of course "I hope this isn't a mistake" obviously refers to us trusting Willow!

I think it is more focused towards Willow though it applies to both of them (I thing Let Go is more of the player). Willow is separated from her entire family, her friends are gone (the TSP members are probably not counted as friends but part of a group under her), and all she has to help her find her brother is the person who messed her life up in the first place. Willow is also anxious about trusting us too. She is risking everything for her brother even if it means working with the one she hates.
