Christian, I am so frustrated over my poor retention of your riffs, licks, and tricks… so that I can have dozens and dozens ready at my fingertips for improvisation. Following your idea of labeling various fingerings, e.g. “The Wood Chopper,” I’ve come up with the following fun labels for your 9 licks in your tutorial “…Easy Boogie Woogie Piano 5 Super Catchy Licks”:
    (1) M.L. Williams Slip, (2) 3, 2,1 (3) Da-Uh-Di-Dee- Dee, (4) Hammy With a Diddle In The Middle, (5) G-Coda, (6) GC-AD Cutting Chords, (7) AA Dingle Dingle, (8) The Power Machine, (9) FF# Clash!
This works so well… I can recall and play them randomly, and equally importantly, I can play them on my ”mind piano” when I’m away from my instrument.
Thanks so much for your wonderful teachings, Christian.
    Robert

Thanks Christian! Question - I bought your blues packet and was wondering if it's OK to play the 5th and 6th on the left hand both with your thumb. It feels more comfortable.

Many do that. A double thumb is harder to groove. But if you're used to it, you might.

i am used to to play also 5. and 6 . with thumb, but i am practicing to play with 1. and 2.finger This is quite difficult for me

I feel like I need to smooth the 2 out as it seems like I am pecking the note compared to my thumb. Giving it a different feel. I asked because I wanted to make sure in the long run it is better with 2/5 - 1/5 combo than just my thumb.
