      I was part of the US Army that helped restore Aristede to power. People keep referring to the "root causes." When my Army unit deployed, we helped get rid of Raul Cedras and replaced him with the man the majority of Haitians wanted - that being Aristede. We stayed for months and realized whatever the root causes were, we would never be able to fix most of them.

    my 94 year old mother in law was here in the USA in a nursing home and she signed he self out and went back to here. she stays inside her compound but her home does not look anything like this. it is a nicer home than my home in Long Island and she has a full time live-in maid and a cook that looks after her 24 hours.She pays them out of her pension and SS

    My wife is from Haiti, most of her family lives in the u.s. but they have 11 family members currently at the u.s. boarder right now. The stories I hear are crazy, but normal to her. Really her whole family talks about these desperate situations like there nothing ( there were attempts on her mothers life)... It's weird

    It's no longer Jimmy Barbecue, it's vitel'homme who had dealt with the current government and the government does not follow the deal they had in place, as a Haitian I'm worried that the situation will become much worse, the main problem is a dysfunctional government with a man in charge who follows his bosses (international community).
