One thing I like about the movie is the sound of the animatronics and the spring trap suit you can hear the weight when they walk and the sounds of the hydraulics and gears
I'm really happy with this movie, i know it's great that they don't use cgi but what bothers me the most is, that afton in the suit just looks like he's wearing a suit, but without any animatronic in it. You can see the overall underneath but not even a small sign, that he's actually inside an animatronic. Other than that i love the movie.
It looks that way because that’s how it is, the spring lock suits have a costume and animatronic mode, during suit mode the endoskeleton is taken out and the spring locks are wounded back (not in that order though). The spring locks are there to hold the endoskeleton in place when it’s in animatronic mode. (I say this in the nicest way possible.)
Well, you gotta remember that these suits are made to be both animatronics and be worn by people. Too much on the animatronic side, and they would be bulky af. Literally a bit ridiculous. I'm very very fine with the compromise.
Matthew Lillard carried this movie towards the end. In my opinion, i felt they shouldve removed some of scenes with the sister and the animatronics in order to build him up a bit more. While his reveal is stellar, thinking about it, it kinda comes out of nowhere. And plot wise how tf did he kill Michael's brother while they were in Nebraska? Meanwhile, the actual reveal comes off as half baked. Costune design is perfect, as is the casting. The dialogue is sort of sub par though. All in all, i felt the movie was alright but it definitely needed more actual horror instead of the sister befriending them halfway through. Sorta sucked out the tension because it made them less menacing
I agree with some parts, Matthew definitely carried this movie, and the build up wasn't really that good, but still a bit of a twist in my opinion, definitely out of nowhere.
Poor Stew even as the main villain he still dies a horrible death. I have to say I felt more sad for Stew in the first Scream movie, and in the FNAF movie I couldn’t give a darn about Afton after what he did to those kids.
It’s very rare for Lillard to play twisted, vile characters, he is also Shaggy Rogers from Scooby-Doo. I wonder how the gang would feel when they find out that Shaggy Rogers was the child killer 😱😱😱😱😱

@@rimspeeWait, how are they related? Are Michael Schmidt and Michael Afton the same person? And if so, why did we see Michaels father in the flashback just before William kidnaps his brother? Did William kill his own son?
This is just a theory, but it may be that Gerret's father is Henry, because while Micheal watches the video tape for Freddy's Security job, we see a man who's building the animatronic, and it's either an old tape of William or Henry because Gerret's father looks pretty similar to the guy building the animatronic, and maybe something happened between them, we don't have much time stamps, just that Micheal is about 20-30 and Freddy's was a hit in the 80's, and say the movie is based around 1990-2000 ( going based off things like the Cafe, phones and cars) which would line up with Micheal in his flashbacks who looks to be around 10 years old ,that'll make the event about in the 80's-ish, and maybe this was when William was in his early stages in killing, we know from the game events his first kill was Henry's daughter, so it would line up pretty well if Gerret's father is Henry who worked or is the employer of William, but that's just a theory @@guybrushthreepwood2014
The scene would've been better if it had gore, the intense screaming, and you get it. Maybe they should've added William saying "I always come back" as one of the bonus scenes before the actual credits start?
I think the reason for why the "I always come back" has not been said right after the ending is because it would have been unsatisfying for those who are not fans, like you see the main antagonist die and then he comes back to life?
