Trevor = AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing this video. I always wondered what happened to this musical genius!! Wishing and hoping great success in his movie scores!!
This is so PRECIOUS!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing! Trevor is wonderful!! And his home studio is awesome, it´s complete!! I wish I were a fly, just to watch him working with all those computers, composing those beautiful songs...
Wow since Rabbitt disbanded i really lost touch with what everyone has been doing and is really fantastic to see how well Trevor has been doing and its not surprising - he really is very talented. An amazing artist.
I met Trevor once..talked to him : ) NAMM show years back..He was noodling around on an acoustic guitar in the aisle and sounded incredible..No one plays like that. True gifted dude. wish he would put a band together now...show em how it's done
No Country For Old Men is one of the few examples of a movie working better without any music. It makes it feel even more real & intense. However, it's one of the few exceptions because music(esp strings and synths) is very powerful & can add so much emotion. That said, I once showed my daughter a video of a horror scene with & without music and she was stunned at what a huge diff it made. The scene wasn't even scary anymore. Peace!
As an ex Rhodesian I and my best friend would bunk off school to go and see them at the monomatapa hotel, dodging the security guards and hanging out with them in their rooms - completely innocent and none of the band members did anything creepy or sleazy we were just silly 14 year olds with girl crushes on the band.. Trevor was very sweet and friendly .. different times, I guess ...
@lightingcue1 During my research I already found this song, but I this isn´t it. Maybe it is another version of the ending of this song?!?Thank you for the response.
Hello, i hope i am right here and you can help me. Last week I saw the movie "Rock Star" and in this movie is a scene where Izzy (Mark Wahlberg) is kicked out of the Band and he talk to Emily (Jennifer Aniston). You can watch this scene on youtube: /watch?v=Ml6dVGKdIwA I was looking for a week for the song is running in the background. I am almost sure that the composer is Travor Rabin but I can´t find this song anywhere. It is not on his homepage, itunes, amazon or somewhere else. Please HELP
Lol. Without Trevor Rabin most people born after 1970 wouldn't even know who YES was. Rabin was far more versatile than either Banks or Howe. All 3 are great players but Trevor was worth far more to YES than the other two.
No need for bowing lol. Just stating my opinion. I mean c'mon I could see rating him second of the three but third? Rabin is better than Banks for sure.
I don't know about Peter Banks, save he gave the band its name. Steve Howe made me want to play the guitar, but he admits he basically fumbled into his style by trying to play like Merle Travis. When I bought his musical notation and it was all wrong, he admitted he can't read music. Trevor is amazing.
".... fortunately or unfortunately" ?? bly me, he's got an Austin Martin, among other stuff (45 guitars, a studio, and a house in Hollywood) ... what else does he need ?
You forgot to mention he also has been married for 40 years to a woman he first met in school, not many living in Hollywood who can say that. And it's an Aston Martin, not Austin.
Well, when I hear Bruce Grobbelaar or Johnny Clegg they do not sound that English... they're clearly Dutch speakers, it's evident... in fact the Dutch, as long as the Brits, were the settlers, as far as I know...
Very affable man. And so much talent.
Lots of great guitarists in the world but not many have the breadth of talent like Trevor Rabin
I wonder if Trevor misses the stage sometimes. No doubt he's found his forte in doing scores, but the guy's got rock and roll in his veins.
Trevor = AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing this video. I always wondered what happened to this musical genius!! Wishing and hoping great success in his movie scores!!
A devoted family man and so very talented! Great job Trevor! You have a beautiful family.
This is so PRECIOUS!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing! Trevor is wonderful!! And his home studio is awesome, it´s complete!! I wish I were a fly, just to watch him working with all those computers, composing those beautiful songs...
Trevor is truely amazing person and artist! He still inspires me to keep playing!
Happy I got to see him with Yes a few times. So F'in talented.
Great video. Very likable, seemingly genuine person.

Armageddon is the best soundtrack I've ever heard.. this guy needds to make more stuff

Very cool - a good spotlight on what happens to a guy when he still wants to remain in music but is out of the "conventional rock world".
3:45 is where Trevor Talks about Stephen Seagal.
so cool i grew up with rabbit music
That´s very cool! I´m a huge fan!!!
Rabbit was brilliant, very good musician!
he's so good looking; thought so when I was 15 and still now....ahh
I smell a Rabbit fan!
God was definitely over doing it on the Talent-Delivery portion of this creation.
I want that piano.
Update!!!! Trevor Rabin has Just released a NEW SOLO Lp called "RIO"!!!!!!!!!!!! It sounds FANTASTIC!!!!
badass

"The One"
He probably lives down the street from Vai.
Rare indeed. btw, does anyone know what song plays on the piano from 6:27 - 6:36 ? I would like to know.

@metairr5: Trevor's released over 40 film scores.
Trevor Rabin sounds kinda Australian, for a South African native.

Motu digital performer :)
The third best guitarist Yes ever had.
Lol. Without Trevor Rabin most people born after 1970 wouldn't even know who YES was. Rabin was far more versatile than either Banks or Howe. All 3 are great players but Trevor was worth far more to YES than the other two.
I bow to your superior knowledge. Thanks for correcting me.

Trevor is GOD
@popup1981 The only Trevor Rabin song released from this movie is "Rock Star."

He is South African, not Aussie!
... hugely successful band called rabbit ??? What eva - why does he remind of Sly Stallone ?
Anyway, a great guitar player - he turned me onto Yes ...

I read it... though it was removed... well, African, aye... good, then, but he still sounds BBC...
year?
Because South Africans are actually British settlers. Actually they are British accents.
Steve Howe disliked this
lol!
Very funny
And he's so British he now does look a bit like Sir Paul McCartney, doesn't he? :-)
Trevor is African not British.
