That was very good! A basic problem with young woodwind players is their sound and you have a nice tone and sound. And glad to see young people still interested in classic jazz. Keep it up.

A completely coherent solo that doesn't drop the inspiration from the greatest solo of all time (in 1949). I don't know your name, or where you choose to go from here, but this is a tribute to the music, an increment to the tradition of great jazz performances and a display of real swinging talent and energy. Be satisfied that you have really accomplished something with this performance and then think about where to go next. Whatever it may be, I wish you further success.
I like the IDEA that she is NOT OUT PROVING ANYTHING TO ANYONE...she's playing with great zest, not going too fast, and intonation is on the spot! Shit, I didn't play that good when I was her age! Keep playing sweetheart...greatness always comes by not putting that Saxophone down, and NO ONE can take that away from you!. :)

ジャズを長年聴いてきてわかったことがあるんですが、実はビ・バップのフレーズでスイングするというのは意外に難しいことなのです。フレーズがギクシャクしていますからね。マイルスだって若い頃は苦労したんですよ。そいで、途中で放棄しました。比較するわけじゃないですが、流れるように吹くフュージョン系なんてのは、案外容易。そのバップ・フレーズを１３歳の子が易々と吹くなんてビックリ。時代は変わったなあと思います。
