- Islam has changed my life, and so in every country I travel to, I make sure to visit the local mosques and Muslim quarter, to show what life as a Muslim is like. Today's episode takes me to the Haroon Mosque, the oldest mosque in Bangkok, to meet the Imam, and many other friendly locals followers of Islam.
Along the way, we'll visit the Muslim cemetery, eat some delicious Halal food, and learn more about this beautiful and misunderstood religion.

Hi Brent. There is a youtuber from Texas, his name is Grayson, who read the entire Quran in one sitting. He took 19hours to finish it. You should read it too (take your time, no need to read all of it in one sitting). It will give you a good idea about the core teaching of Islam.

Why islam is the best religion and the only true religion of God.
1-the pure monotheism the oneness of God. No multiple gods 3 or 5 or 10 gods like in the polythist man made religions.
2- no fake man made weak human gods that need to go to the toilet to pee and poop and die like the pagans religions like the Hinduism with Krishna and Buddhism with Buddha and Christianity with jesus.
3-God is the creator not the creation.
4- God is all forgiving so no need for the pagan man made rituals of the human's sacrifice to get the forgiveness of the Gods.
5-God is independent and has the will and he doesn't depend on another god to glorify him or honor him or command him like the fake man made gods.
6- God is Great and powerful and praised and respected not a weak and humiliated and beaten and tortured and slapped and spat on his face and mocked fake human god.
7- God is immortal does not die like the fake man made gods that die.
8-No man made sons of God cuz God is the creator and doesn't give birth to humans and doesn't have a family like the father of God and the mother of God or the son of God, he is the creator he only creates.
9-All the prophets are in Islam and in the Quran from Noah to Abraham to Isaac and Jacob and Job and Jonah and Joseph and Elijah and Moses, and Aron and David, Solomon, Zechariah, John the Baptist and Jesus. And all of them are honored and respected.
10- if you are a Jew and you love Moses you won't lose Moses in islam and you will be surprised to see that Moses is mentioned many times in many diffrent chapters in the Quran also with his miracles and also his brother Aron and they are both honored and respected and if you are a Christian and you love Jesus you won't lose Jesus in Islam and you will be surprise to see his name mentioned in the Quran many times in many chapters also with his miracles and he is respected and honored him and his mother Mary that has a whole chapter in the quran with her name as a title for the chapter as a honor to her.
11- No idols in islam.
12- Islam is not only a religion but also a way of life.
13-Their is no discrimination or prejudice for your ethnicity or color or for your tribe or for your land, all the muslims are under one umbrella equally
14- no racesim in islam, the prophet muhammed pbuh said there is no difference between an Arab and none Arab and between a White and Black and he encurged the marriage between all the ethics he married a dark skin woman and encareaged the women to marry black men before 1400 when it was not allowed and mostly was forbedden in Europe and America even before 100 years ago and the mixed people that get married they will be harassed and mocked or attacked or outcast or killed.
15- Islam is a system of life it cares not only about the internal self cleansing as a faith but also the external self cleansing and purifying. It commands the muslims to be clean in everthing starting from washing their hands before eating and must take a shower and be clean and wear clean cloths when go outside if you capable and you have money and also you must cut your nails for men so they can be clean and use water for cleaning yourself after using the toilet cuz for example if a small piece of poop lands on your face you won't only wipe it with toilet papers you must use water to clean it. and the prophet also was keen on we muslims must wash our teeth daily and no one in this world thru history cared about taking care of your teeth and washing them daily with small tree's branches called miswaks like the prophet muhammad did and commanded the muslims to do. unlike in the west they didn't care about cleaning their teeth only before 60 years after inventing the TV in the 50's and the 60's and people saw the toothpaste advertisements on it.
16- Islam is the first system in the world and history that allowed it's followers to vote to choose a leader for themselves before 1400 years.unlike in the west they didn't know democracy and the people should vote only soon almost before 200 years and it was after many grinding civil wars and not by choice unlike islam it was a peaceful free choice by both men and also women can vote by asking them and that was before 1400 years.
17- womens rights women can choose who they want to marry and the woman can go to the judge if she was forced to get married reject the marriage and if she wanted to marry a man and her parents refused she also can go to the judge and marry him without the permission of her parents.and women can get divorce and also she can divorce her husband if she didn't want to live with him any more unlike the other relgions wmen can't get divorce. Also muslim women don't have to carry the husband's last name as followers to him like in the west. Women can inherit not like in west in the past if their was only one male in the family even if he was a child they don't inherit as in the bible.women can vote. men must give women money before the marriage to help them so they can buy a wedding dress and new clothes and jewelery. Even if the woman was rich the husband is commanded to not take her money without her permission and must continue to pay for her new clothes.
18-islam care for and support the poor people by two ways by charity anytime thru the year and by Zakkah at the end of every year.
19-must treat animals and birds good and must not torture them. islam taught us if we treat animals good like helping them and feed them and give them water, that deed will take us to heaven like the hadiths of the prophet said about the sinner prostotute woman that found a thirsty dog near a well of watet that couldn't drink from cuz the water was deep and she gave him some water to drink and God forgave all of her sins and she became from the people of the heaven only because of that one good deed that she did to an animal, and also islam teach that we must not harm or torture the animals like in the hadiths of the prophet that said a woman went to hell because she tortured and jailed a cat in her house and didn't gave that cat food or water and didn't let that cat go outside the house to eat by itself,and also the prophet said if you wanna eat meat don't ever kill the sheep or the cows or the chickens in front of other animals in the farm to not hurt the other animals feelings or torture them by that scene cuz that animal was part of them.
20- in wars islam forbbed killing old people and women and children and animals and destrying plants or demolishing a christian church or a Jewish temple.unlike other religions that their books tells them in wars to kill everything from old people and women and children and animals and plants and they destroy Mosques.👇🏼
(Sm1-15-3) Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.
(Jos:6-21-21)They devoted the city to the Lord and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it-men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys
21- islam is the only religion of peace that can contain other religions and allow other none muslims to live among the muslims like christians and jews that lived among the muslims in the muslim country for 1400 and islam allowed them to establish their own courts inside the muslims country so they can apply their own rules and judgments on themselves and among themselves. Also muslims protected the minority christians sects and jews from the majority christians that were persecuting them and killing them under the claim of blasphemy. like when the majority catholics were doing to the other minority christians sects and jews.
-That's why islam is the best religion for mankind.

im trying to answer some of your queestion .. 1. there are two adzan during jumaah. The first azan to mark the zuhr time where Jumaah will begin. The second adzan is to inform jummah will start now. 2. Muslim actually prohibitted to talk with people once the imam start the speech. if you stay in mosque they wont speak with you during imam speech . 3. the seperated room normally an extended of the mosque.. you can pray anywhere around the space but when jummat prayer they need to pray in group and group at top need to linked to ground floor group.

As a Muslim born and bred in England, I went to a few masjids in Bangkok including Haroon Mosque, Bangkok Mosque and Darul Aman Mosque. I have travelled to many Muslim countries with some of them multiple times such as Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Maldives, Pakistan, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia.
Bangkok has a good Muslim community but Southern Thailand is where most of the Muslim population are. I'm pretty sure the Muslim population has increased to almost 10% now with most of them living in Southern Thailand (Krabi, Pattani, Satun). I have been to Krabi twice and Koh Lipe in Satun twice.
Masha Allah lots of trips you have had. Minority Muslims in Bangkok but we have almost 200 registered Masjids in Bangkok. Seem you visited only Masjids in downtown of Bangkok. Please comeback to visit Muslims out ring of Bangkok. Masjids and Muslim communities in Minburi district, Nong Chok district and Klong Samwa district of Bangkok are waiting for you and visitors all over the world. Pink line of Monorail can take you to Minburi market easily. You will find cheap and delicious halal food over there. Insha-Allah.
@@mayugear3113 I have been to maybe 8 masjids in Babgkok but mainly in downtown Bangkok, I was aware that were over 100 masjids but didn't know there was that many. Thanks for your suggestions on where to go in BKK as well - I have noted it and there is a possibility of visiting BKK again in the near future

Actually in Bangkok you can found Muslim community everywhere. And many Big Mall in Bangkok they have Muslim Prayer Room, Like Paragon, CTW, Icon Siam, MBK or Central Embassy the best place to make Beautiful Prayer Room.
Only Islam Is the best Religion all over the world..We all should follow Islam Properly.
