    Gentlemen, John is the most valuable asset to our wardrobe. I’ve always said that I would hire him without hesitation to go shopping with me as my consultant. But since that is not the case, the next best thing would be that color wheel and Pinterest.
    John, while the color wheel is no substitute for your expertise, "at least in my opinion," it can be a fashion lifesaver for those who question what colors to combine.
    Thanks as always! This video was a great overview on how to be a wiser, more logical shopper.

    I can vouch for the quality and versatility of Anson Belts. I have 4 belts and buckles of various shades and metals, and since the buckles are interchangeable, they cover every occation and every outfit I choose to wear. Been using them for a couple of years now, and they seem to hold up really well. Also, the easily adjustable length comes in real handy after a large dinner... ;)

    Thanks for the American Eagle jeans tip. Jeans are the hardest thing to find that fit properly AND are the proper length. I just gave away all my “old” jeans, in super shape, because I realized that they were all saggy and ill fitting, even though they were the “right” size. I finally found out that I need jeans that “sit below the waist” and are slim, to fit my body type. And I’m not fit either. Big fashion news for me that made a huge improvement in my “look”. That one change made me look and feel so much more put together.

What statement I want to make is that I have learn how to tailor a lot of my long sleeve dress shirts however, because my body structure is rectangular. I have to be very careful not to take him too much on the sides. I have to make sure that the idea, is that the top part of my body meaning my shirts should chill wider than of course, my lower part because of my body shape.

Universal belts/gizmos etc. look cheap and foolish. It's cool that the Dave guy is making $ (Antonio pitches his stuff, too), but look in the mirror, TWICE - nuff said.....

    John, I don't know the retail market in the U S, but in Australia a national chain who sell materials and equipment for making curtains and clothes, along with a massive range of the related odds and sods, that you can no longer find in department stores introduced a line of correctly formed hangers for men suits
    They were often out of stock which is unusual for the store, which indicates that the manufacturer is a small company. But as they are very well made and I have now bought 10 of them, because they help retain the shape of a canvas lined suit coat that has taken a few wearings to mold to the shape of your chest, I thought that there must be a number of your viewers who restrict the wearing of casual dress to the weekend, who would appreciate a review of the accessories that can be used to help retain the appearance of their Business clothing. For me that includes shoe trees and an electric, free standing, trouser press. Phil. P.S. And a Happy New Year.

    What if you look to good in clothes and the attention makes you feel uncomfortable. What if. I know I have a better body and face than most twenty year olds but my energy levels are dropping but the top level of young is better. See I'm going to be 63 this year and this channel might skew to older younger than to me. John I know you grew up with the baggy fit and I'm more of a shrink to fit 501guy 10 mile from the beach dude in California. Whole different vibe. I'm trying to learn the new ways but I like my style better and so do many young girls. I do want to get a burgundy blazer this year and wear them with torn and washed blue jeans and Walmart $1 flip flops. I color my hair not cause I'm going fray but because it needs more dimension. I bleached my hair platinum blonde last spring and the girls were buzzing my house in a gated family community constantly to just say "hello" so I know my style works for me. Anson seems kool but do yourself a favor and try some suspenders with that. Your pants will look really tailored. That's my advice for 2021 and get that face as clean as you can with acid and keep those freckles and age spots and wrinkles at bay. You know you can hide suspenders under clothing especially in the winter and having chicks check out your butt makes the hassle worth it. Winter time is black and blue time for me. Happy 2021and guys lets slay life like back in the day fashion wise, before baggy jeans.

    • @phillipj.moodie3077
      @phillipj.moodie3077 Před 3 lety

      @ferko. Perhaps you could give your Libido and Energy levels a lift by watching a few videos to see how people in your age really enjoy dressing for a surfside lifestyle in Australia, where the Covid bans are effectively lifted. There should be numerous videos on Bondi Beach, because Channel 10 runs Bondi Rescue several hours a day for the benifit of Tourists, and its within "Spitting Distance" of the CBD. If you are up to it some of the World's best Surf Beaches are either side of the entrance of Port Phillip Bay where Melbourne sits at the northern end, about an hours drive from either the nearby ski fields or the great wine districts. And your dress style would be right at home on the East Coast beaches of Byron Bay and Surfers Paradise. That's what I do in my spare time, because I am only 83 and I am too busy living to bother about thinking about retiring. But when I am out of a Business Suit, I follow John's guidelines, because my Peer Group, at the top end of the "Silicon Valley" high tech set, are all 40 years younger than me, but I am accepted for my ability and attitude, not out of false respect for my age. Phil.
