I posted my build on Reddit about 2 months ago but I used a podium hub instead of the universal hub. Definitely my fav wheel right now.
Honestly, due to its current conflict with GT7, I’m having a bit of Builder’s Remorse… It works flawlessly on AC, ACC, & Forza Motorsport, but since purchasing a PSVR2 all I wanna play is GT7 😅 It’s just sitting there, beautifully collecting dust.
I really like the way that came out. Iv been debating on getting this exact same setup or the LeoX XGT PRO. I’m currently running on console as well. But starting saving 2 months ago for hi end PC . Congrats on the new well. Please update in how it works with GT7
Thank You! In combination with the PSVR 2, this wheel is incredible! It corrects the issue while driving. The cursor moment is still problematic on menus, but you’ll love this wheel while driving if you can overlook that.
POCKET DAMAGE HEAVY LOL
GREAT VID BROTHER
Thanks Fam! I appreciate you. #MyWalletInICU 😅
Nice wheel.
Thank you kindly!
Outstanding 👍
I appreciate it. Thanks for watching!
Love it
Damn bro I can’t keep up with you, that’s 🔥
WICKED AN MEAN
LOL Preciate it G. I been on bit of a spree lol #MoreOnTheWaySOON
We see you playa 🔥👊🏽
I’m just getting started.
@@DarkKentX Yo quick question, to remove the front plate you just remove the 2 screws and lift the front plate off the hub? Just checking because I’m not tryna break this thing 🤣
@@eldominici3732 😂 There are 2 bolts in the rear, & 2 in the front to remove that faceplate. #BetterSafeThanSorry
Hey! I’m your 300th viewer!
Legend! I appreciate you Mr. 300!
@@DarkKentX noo problem!
Smart thinking, upgrading with the future in mind -- Come on over to the "dark side" (PC gaming), eventually👍
YESSIR!
Hi, will the buttons (all buttons directly on ClubSport Universal Hub and attached 7-way FunkySwitch) and the LED display work well at the same time? I would like to use the that 7-way FunkySwitch for adjusting brake bias and LED display on ClubSport Universal Hub for showing the speeding while the LED display on Podium Button Module Rally showing me the gear.
You forgot to put in the thicker washer on the connector before putting the QR2 on. I hope you didn't wreck the connector.
Thanks for watching, but I didn’t forget it. It came with the thicker washer already in place. I compared it, & changed it anyway, but cut it out of the video.
@@DarkKentX Ah okay. When you put the QR2 on it still had the thin metal washer on in the vid. Would be a shame to wreck it immediately. It's a cool combo! I've never seen it before. Might do something similar, myself. Still doubting whether to convert to QR2, or to wait out the transition period. I have 2 wheels that I cannot convert and would have to re-buy and I think it's BS that they make you pay full price for the separate QR2 on top of the price for the steering wheel, even if you don't take the QR1. So, that would set me back €1019,- to convert my base, one rim and rebuy 2 rims, with the QR2 standard... So, add €300,- more, if I'd want the pro 🥲
And I've got half a mind to sell my Podium DD2 and buy the CS DD+, but I've got a feeling that a new Podium base might be in the making, too.
@@SchotteJ It definitely sucks for us to have to purchase the QR2, but I get it, from a business standpoint. & personally, I believe it’s worth it. It’s solid as a rock. Absolutely no wobble whatsoever. I never personally drove a DD1 or DD2, but in comparison to the 8nm DD Pro, the DD+ is a-whole-nother level. Not just the obvious 15nm either. It responds/reacts even faster to what’s happening in-game, as well as your inputs. I’m having a blast
@@DarkKentX Yeah, I hear from a lot of youtubers that the ffb is on another level. They say it's much smoother and the slew rate (the speed at which it can ramp up the ffb) is twice as high as the podium DDs at around 6.2 nm per millisecond.. That, plus they don't have the torque ripple effect the Podium DDs have, which you don't really notice while driving, but it still may dampen some effects.
I opened a support case with Fanatec, last week, to see if I can arrange some kind of deal for the wheels I have to replace, with maybe a reduction on the cost for the QRs, or something. So, I'm waiting for a response from them on that. We'll see :)
@@SchotteJ Good luck with that! I’m interested to hear how that goes
What’s your name on GT7
PSN: xDarkKentXx
im not going for that pocket damage
LOL I understand
@@DarkKentX I'm just about to order the 5nm bundle and figure out my upgrade from there.
@@dubhitradioThat’s a solid wheelbase. That’s basically what I had, minus the Boost Kit.
@@DarkKentX step by step for me here.
@@dubhitradio Nothing wrong with that. We all have our own pace.
